New Mexico Off the Beaten Path®, 10th: A Guide to Unique Places (Off the Beaten Path Series)

This refers to 2013 edition: went to look for Bed and Breakfast in Las cruces and it was no more. Better to use Google as the info provided is not that much and certainly is not the reviews of 100s of people.

I really didn't think much of this book. Especially if you are an outdoors or adventure traveler there is a lot missing here. Lots of wild and scenic areas not covered. And a lot of things I know about from being at Los Alamos years ago that I think could have been covered but weren't. Big print, wordy, but not a lot of detail. There are some neat ideas, and a lot of restaurant info, but I was expecting more in the off the beaten path arena.

This book is amazing. It has wonderful stories about NM and areas of which someone from out of state would not be aware. A lightning rod field? WOW who would have known? I will reread this book and discover all these places.

O K , but was looking for an off road guide

This book is just the guide I was looking for. Well indexed and clearly written descriptions of unique places to visit in New Mexico. Book is unmarked and in excellent condition.

Adds very little that is not covered in the more general travel guides.
