LX-S3 Waterproof Motorcycle Bluetooth Speaker with FM, Motorcycle Audio Systems Fits 7/8'' to 1.25'' Handlebar Black

I bought this and the BOSS MCBK420B 3" speaker system to compare the sound quality before deciding which to install on my moped. I really liked the idea of having the volume and play controls on the speaker (opposed to using my phone or a separate remote with the Boss). But features only mean something if the sound quality is adequate (which it is not).These speakers have absolutely zero bass. In fact they barely have any mid range "thump"... Almost all you hear from these speakers is 1khz and above, and what you hear sounds like it's playing inside of a tin can. Compared to the BOSS system, the sound quality is horrible. The Boss at least has good mid range and there is a little bass (which is a tough squeeze for a 3" speaker). But the sound volume, lack of distortion and sound quality with the BOSS destroy this LX-S3 system.So if you care about quality - buy the BOSS system. If you don't care about sound quality and just care about convenience, buy this one...

Accidentally bought this instead of the one I wanted. It is missing some features that I wanted. They seem good so far. I use it on a quad so it needs to be loud but seems to do it's job just fine. It's not what I wanted but it works great. Only used it on one ride so far. Don't know if dust/water will affect this review but it will get tested where I live.

Speakers are well built but have no bass at all. At this price range you will not get too much bass on any speakers you purchase anyway. They are very easy to connect and operate. I like the USB versus aux connection because it allows the phone to stay charged while playing tunes. I don't have a windshield so they were good to about 55mph. Good for cruising around but not highway unless you have a windshield. Overall, nice system for the money. Would recommend.

Not loud enough the 600 series is louder but looked like this company had it downCan't really hear at 60 maybe I'll try boss

Looks great but one of the speakers shipped broken. It has a real bad crackle on the slave speaker, and the F/M radio sounds terrible. Also, it's not very loud. You can't hear it over the Harley exhaust. Would not recommend.

So far so good. Sound isnt amazing but if your looking to have a little something hard wired this will fo it!!

I bought these speakers last July, absolutely loved them! Great sound even at 60 miles per hour. I was so bummed the other day when they stopped working. I contacted the seller and less than 48 hours later a brand new set of upgraded speakers are headed my way! I would definitely buy from this seller again!
