As with the one star review, the packs have already absorbed water before or during the time it was placed into the pack. However, one can drive off the water by placing the capsule into a 270F oven for about 1/2-1hr. (the weight of mine decreased from 5.4 to 5.0 grams after processing. ) [The polypropylene that the case is made of has a melting temperature of above 300F.] The PP case is also translucent, not clear, which makes the beads look whiter than they actually are. Don't bother trying to remove the cardboard cap of the capsule while heating the capsule, as it is almost impossible.

Works as advertised. Inexpensive enough so that I don't hesitate to change to a fresh one regularly. So important given the cost of hearing aids
