I love this thing. The steel bowl is easy to clean. It makes my rice exactly how I like it using the same recipe I use in a stovetop pot, but it's automatic.I use a 1-pound bag of jasmine rice, which is exactly 2 cups. I dump it into the steel bowl and rinse and drain it 13 times til water runs clearly. I add salt and herbs and pepper and mix by hand. I add water to about 2 inches above the rice. I squirt in 2 or 3 tbsp olive oil or a half stick of butter. That's all Put the lid on, push the button. Once cooking finishes, let it rest 10 minutes more, and you've got a whole pot of perfect rice

Wow These rice cookers really work. This particular one is big enough to feed the family. I have only one regret. I should have bought it years ago. It is my favorite kitchen appliance..

First of all it is a 5 quart came to me not as advertised (10quarts), very slow cooking rice cooker, AND MOST IMPORTANT rice sticks and the cleaning is HELL and not worth it, as a cook I do not recommend this.

Easy to use and cooks well each time.

We have a small kitchen and having a separate rice cooker makes it easy for a big family feast. This cooker worked very well and is easy to clean and put away. I just hope the quality of the cooker is such that it lasts a few years. I can recommend this product.

WOW great. I especially like how fast it is and that you do not have to watch it.It watches itself.

The measuring cup isMissing and the rice cooker no longer works

It holds 2 cups of raw rice. The directions say to add 1 cup of water per 1 cup of rice. I finally landed on 1 1/2 cups of rice, 3 cups of water. It's small it won't hold more than that as far as I can tell. It is otherwise a very good cooker and I have no other complaints. I have made both white rice and brown rice in this cooker and I use it at least once a week.
