8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired Controller for Windows PC and Android, with 1000Hz Polling Rate, Hall Effect Joysticks and Hall Triggers, and Remappable L4/R4 Bumpers (Peach)

This controller is a steal at its retail price, especially so if on sale. I bought this controller for ~$20 and it's fantastic for PC gaming. I've played tons of games with it, from retro games to reaction heavy games like Dark Souls and I love this controller. The sticks feel great, requiring just the right amount of force as well as the texture of the sticks fitting my thumbs perfectly. The buttons looks and feel great, requiring relatively low force to push down. I've never had an issue with response timing nor does it double press any buttons. The feel of the controller in my hand is great. I have relatively big hands and it feels great with no hand fatigue like some controllers have. The provided USB cable feels just as quality as the controller too. For the price, if you don't mind a wired controller over wireless, this controller is absolutely killer. I highly highly recommend it.

This is one of the best controllers I've ever been able to use. If price is a consideration, there is simply no fair comparison or viable alternative on the market. This controller trades blows with Razer's Wolverine V3 TE and Thrustmaster's HEART controllers and barely breaks a sweat while doing it and being 1/5 the price. This gamepad is more comfortable than the Razer Wolverine V3 and it has a better layout than the Thrustmaster HEART. The mechamembrane face buttons found on the Wolverine V3 are better than the face buttons on the Ultimate 2C. Full stop. Everything else though, I prefer the ultimate 2c. Including the shoulder button shape and placement, the extra shoulder buttons' shape size and placement, the shape and "pull" of the triggers, and the overall controller shape are all superior on the 8bitdo Ultimate 2c. For my hands at least. I really like the thrustmaster heart controller but it's missing those 2 extra shoulder buttons next to lb and rb. If Thrustmaster adds these extra shoulder buttons, it'll take the top spot for best PC controller but alas. The Heart has better face buttons, triggers, and a more comfortable shape than the Ultimate 2C. I would prefer the Thrustmaster heart but the absence of the 2 extra shoulder buttons has become a deal breaker since using the ultimate 2c and wolverine v3 TE The ultimate 2C has the best Dpad out of all three controllers. Its crazy to think that a well balanced membrane dpad actually feels better and is easier to use than either mechanical dpad found on these competing gamepads. The Ultimate 2C handles 1000hz polling better than razer. It's laughable. The ultimate 2C simply punches leagues above its weight class and outshines controllers 5 times its cost. Opt for the wireless version of this remote and you have something more fully features than either remote mentioned. There is no viable alternative to this gamepad outside of the Razer Wolverine V3. Thrustmaster must add the extra shoulder buttons but i hope that's all they update on the HEART controller. If you need a gamepad for PC, get this one.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from such an affordable piece of tech - the last controller I purchased in this price range about 8 years ago was complete trash - but this in many ways actually feels better than the XBOX series controller I’ve been sharing between my console and gaming system until now. Great build quality and hand feel. Plus I love the color options. I always prefer wired connections since they are more reliable and don’t have to bother with bluetooth pairing or battery swaps mid game. I play a lot of Diablo 2 Resurrected and that game doesn’t pause when your controller drops off for any reason! This works perfectly plug and play on my Bazzite Linux system in every game I’ve tried on Steam and Battle.net.

I’m giving it 4 stars, I was stupid and didn’t read that it was for android only. I was a bit sad when I couldn’t get it to connect to my Xbox because I really like the design, the feeling in the hands is great too. Slightly smaller than regular Xbox controllers, but I didn’t get a chance to try it out to see how well it worked. However the return/exchange process was extremely easy, easiest return I’ve ever done. In its place I ordered the ultimate 8bitdo mini controller for Xbox, which has arrived but I haven’t opened it yet, I wish they had better color options for those mini Xbox controllers. But at the end of the day I ordered this for my 6 yr old son anyway, so the color probably doesn’t matter.

It is simply spectacular. What impresses me most is its compatibility: it works seamlessly on Linux, macOS (using Android mode), and Nintendo Switch (using Windows mode), making it super versatile for any platform. In terms of comfort, it’s one of the best controllers I’ve tried; it fits perfectly in the hand and feels very ergonomic for long gaming sessions. The d-pad is another gem: it’s extremely precise and responds impeccably, which is crucial for fighting games where every move counts. Definitely an investment worth every penny for gamers seeking quality, precision, and broad compatibility. Five stars without a doubt.

After having some drift with official Xbox pads, I looked into the Ultimate 2C. First off the Mint color scheme drew me to it instantly because blue and orange are my favorite colors. I'd love a slightly bluer blue but the orange still pops hard. Anyways the amazing colors should speak for themselves. I love the d-pad; while it looks like a Nintendo 64 d-pad, it has a good feel for diagonals and isn't loud. I was happy with it in any genre. The bumpers are VERY clicky however, and I actually like it quite a bit. The programmable L4 and R4 have even more of a click to them, were easy to program, and were easy enough to find with your finger, while also being able to forget they are there. I can update if I run into any issues with the sticks but from the first few weeks they are remarkable so far and have very good throw with no dead-zone issues. I'm not that sensitive to the pull on triggers so nothing to remark about, I think it's very comparable to other offerings. I just can't believe I got all of this for $20. I game at the computer desk so I play wired, and this is doing everything I want while looking like something I customized (nope, these colors are just that wild and saturated.) If I could find something to be mad about I would share it with you, but I think 8bitdo has really figured this all out. Curious to see where they go from here, and the next color schemes.

This is a great controller for the price! Good quality and I didn't have any issues setting it up on my PC. Would be 5 stars but I did have one big issue. The cord connection become loose or faulty on the controller side after about a month or so of gameplay. This would cause me to disconnect randomly during games until I wiggled the wire around. Hoping its just a faulty cord and not the connection to the controller.

Great low-cost controller option for PC. With hall effect sticks that won't drift, and responsive feeling buttons. The best wired controller that I've used.

It's hard to rate controllers considering it takes some usage before noticing things like bad buttons or sticks. I've owned several MS XBOX-controllers and a couple of PDP that had the same issues with buttons losing function or sticks that started to "stick" or drift. But so far this controller feels much more solid and reliable.

Il controller che arriva a casa è esattamente quello mostrato in foto. Nessuna brutta sorpresa per quanto riguarda estetica e qualità costruttiva: sono molto sorpreso, in positivo, del rapporto qualità/prezzo Ho provato qualche gioco e sono più che soddisfatto dalle prestazioni e dal comfort. Il controller è anche molto leggero ma senza dare l'impressione di fragilità e risparmio. Faccio presente che uso un sistema operativo Linux e pur non essendo ufficialmente supportato da questo Ultimate 2C sono riuscito ad usarlo senza il minimo problema: collegato e riconosciuto alla prima. Vista la varietà del mondo Linux però non posso garantire che sarà così indolore per tutti, comunque sappiate che si può fare. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto (ma proprio se devo) segnalo la vibrazione un po' troppo rumorosa. In definitiva per un prezzo che non raggiunge la soglia psicologica dei 20€ lo consiglio senza riserve.

Habe dem Controller jetzt schon Seit über nem halben Jahr und er funktioniert super. Die extra Knöpfe funktionieren problemlos und für den Preis ist dieser Controller eine perfekte Alternative für Leute die sich einen Xbox One Controller nicht leisten können. So lange einem das Kabel nicht stört. Und die Sticks sind die besten die ich je bei einem Controller verwendet habe. Die Schultertasten lassen sich flüssig reindrücken und die Knöpfe sind schnell und sind praktisch ein Mix das Dem Switch Pro und Xbox One Controller. Im Allgemeinem füllt sich der Controller wie eine Misschung aus den beiden Controllern an der das beste von beiden Welten vereint hat.
