this is a wonderful concept, but I'm worried about maybe that some people will screw this into a tree without protective screws made to keep the tree healthy. if you have a fence post great. you would be able to monitor property lines and keep an eye on your herds and such or a garden. i love that i can move around angles instead of trying to move the trail cam around from place to place.

I use trail cameras not only for hunting but to keep an eye on my property and keep others off of it. In the past with the basic straps, the cameras have to be mounted at eye level and a few have been stolen. With this bracket, I can mount the camera higher in the tree but tilt it down. With it being out of eye sight it's less likely to be stolen and I can finally get proof of who is sneaking onto my property! It would also work great for mounting to a flat surface, something you can't do with the canvas traditional straps. So it's definitely worth the price, especially if it keeps your expensive camera from being seen & stolen. But it will ensure you get the perfect pics or videos. The price is very reasonable and totally worth it! Just make sure you have the same trail cam that it's recommended for.

This is a must-have trail cam mount.I have two other Moultrie Edge Trail cameras mounted to trees using the canvas straps, which presents problems with leveling and aiming.I needed the Flex Mount to secure a third game cam to a flat barn wall, and this mounting bracket is exactly what I need on a flat surface where the straps will not work.The flex mount bracket allows me to mount my game cam pretty much wherever I need it. It has pan and tilt which are easy to use, with close to 180° left right, and a good range up and down.The camera clips onto the mounting bracket easily and securely, and can be removed with one hand without detaching the bracket from the wall.Also, the flex mount bracket comes with all necessary screws, as well as a steel shackle for mounting to a 2 inch post or even fence wire. An additional canvas strap Is included so that the bracket itself can be mounted to a tree.Now that I have seen what The flex mount bracket can do for me, I will be returning to buy another pair. This is an excellent product.

I don't have a Moultrie trail cam so I knew I would probably need to modify this mount in order for it to work. A simple bolt was all it took. I really love it. It's perfect because it's so easy to adjust for any angle you need. Both the X and Y axies are simple to change. The part that contacts the tress has teeth to keep it from slipping. The strap buckle sinches easily and holds well. Just a well thought out cam mount.

Very nicely designed and well made.I bought this for a different brand trail camera. My fault for not reading the ad better. I thought this mount held the camera by the strap system that all cameras use to mount to their support. It doesn't, apparently there is a special fitting on the Edge series cameras. This will not stop me however, I can make it work.If you can make this work on your other brand trail camera or you have an Edge series camera, it is a nice mount with infinitely adjustable small settings to get the perfect pan and tilt. It also locks in position after your initial positioning.One downside was that it has four mounting holes and includes mounting hardware, but only came with one "U" bolt. It should have two and the you bolts are not a standard "U" but instead has a very shape angle, 90 degrees. So a little harder to find a second one in your local hardware store.

The biggest benefit of this mount is that it enables you to tilt and swivel your game camera. The basic strap mount that comes with the camera, makes it easy to attach the camera to a tree or a post, but getting the exact angle That you want can be challenging. I find that I often want to tilt the camera down toward the ground. This makes that easy.Note that it douses not fit earlier Moultrie cameras, just the ones mentioned in the product description.
