Car CarPlay Cable for iPhone18 Pro Max 17/16/15, USB A to USB C for Carplay

My 2022 Honda CR-V suddenly stopped recognizing my iPhone 15 for CarPlay. I'd used the same cord for ages, and one day it just quit. I tried several other cables, reset the infotainment system, reset my phone, and worked through every troubleshooting step I could find online and in the manual. The Honda dealer had no idea what was wrong. I ordered this cord as a hail Mary, and CarPlay connected right away. The 3 ft length is a good fit for the car, it feels sturdy, and it charges fine. Nothing fancy, it just works. If CarPlay suddenly stops working and nothing else fixes it, try this cable before you drive yourself nuts with other troubleshooting steps.

I just updated phones from an iPhone 12 to a 17e. The 12 would allow maps on my 2019 Subaru Legacy display. I never really tried anything else. It was awkward, but doable. I had to have a new cable with the 17e. They have different plug-ins. Instantly the cable connected the phone to the car. The car display matched my phone's display. I can control all phone functions through the car's touch screen display. And it charges my phone at the same time. Even my XM app played through the car easily! I am not a tech person, but I was amazed how well it all worked together. Much easier than before.

This cord saved my sanity!!! lol. I went from an iPhone SE 3rd Gen (lightning port) to an iPhone 18 (usb-c port) and being my CarPlay is usb-a, I knew I’d have to buy a new cord for the car. Since Apple no longer makes usb-a to usb-c cables, I got the Beats brand woven cord sold at the Apple Store when I got the phone. I thought it’d be a quick swap of the cable and I’d be back on CarPlay… NOPE!!! Nothing but problems with the Beats brand cord. I thought it was a problem with the phone or the car settings at first… so for three days I was constantly disconnecting, reconnecting, Bluetooth on, Bluetooth off, remember this car, forget this car, - and no matter what I’d do, it’d connect for like 30 seconds, then the screen would freeze and go back to the radio screen… and constant BING!!! … BING!!! Of the phone going in and out of charging mode. I was about to go insane!! I made one last look online of alternate options before I made an appt. At jeep. Saw some people’s reviews here that sounded like this cable fixed their disconnecting issues.. bought it and for two days I have had constant connection to CarPlay!!! OMG I was elated!!! This nothing-by-nothing cable kicks the @$$ of the $19 Beats one sold by Apple!!! If you have ANY weird issues with CarPlay after changing your phone or cable, GET THIS ONE!!! save yourself the frustration!!! Ok, getting off my soapbox now :-)

I have an iphone 16 Pro Max. It only comes with a type C charging block...no USB connection. I have been unable to get CarPlay to work in my 2023 Toyota Tacoma. I bought this cable after using other USB cables because of claims it works with CarPlay. Plugged my phone in and CarPlay popped right up. Problem solved!!

Short length as to not get in the way of other duties and functions needed while driving. Maybe not too useful for those using their device while charging. But for the driver, it’s great, in my opinion.

I wish the cord was a little bit longer. It barely reaches where my phone mount is, but it does what it is supposed to do! My newer car is supposed to be compatible with Apple Car Play, but it wouldn’t work over bluetooth or with the cord that came with the phone. This cable allows it to connect finally! 3 years since I got mycar and ai can finally use it.

The cable is not working and not reading Apple CarPlay I don’t advice you to purchase

O produto é bom , mas não funcionou no meu carro, para espelhar o celular. Mas o problema é a mídia do carro e o meu celular. Não o cabo. Foi mais uma tentativa.
