This unit is awesome. It was easy to set up and use on my iPhone 6S. The camera is very clear and easy to position. The lights can be dimmed or brightened. I can take still pics or videos. This will be so helpful to me. I have Eustachian tube dysfunction and have chronic middle ear infections. Being able to take a peek at my ears when they are painful will hopefully help save some physician visits. Sometimes it’s pressure build up from the malfunctioning eustachian tube causing pain and sometimes it’s infection. Now I can take a peek and see myself instead of constantly visiting the physician and exposing myself to many more illnesses in the process. Also, I’m on my second set of ear tubes so it’s nice to be able to visualize them to see if they’re still in place or not. Overall, this little device will help my specific situation a great deal, and hopefully save me quite a bit of money used for office copays as well. Win, win!!

(Note: For an iPhone, the current (1/23/19) app seems to be “YCamera”. I base this impression on instructions that came with a new unit (instructions that came with an older unit suggested ImageKit. However, that app doesn’t work with my new unit).This is an updated review: After the vendor learned from this section that I had a rare faulty unit, they very graciously offered a replacement unit (the service was way beyond their obligation, especially since I did not notify the company in a timely manner.) The new unit functions spectacularly, and its images are FAR BETTER ( quality, clarity, field of view, color, etc) than similar devices that I’ve purchased (and tossed). Very useful set of accessories. Very grateful to the vendor.

This is a neat little device! I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I first ordered it but I knew it was something I wanted to try out after hearing about it. So far my wife and I have used it on ear, nose, and throat as well as checking on the ears of a new kitten we got to make sure they didn't have ear mites. The image quality is pretty good and the unit can get a bit warm with the light on all the way. The included case is very nice as well, although mine had a sticker on it that was a little hard to get off. Overall, I definitely like having it around and I'm glad I made the purchase!

Does not work. Does not connect via WiFi or USB. The instructions are very poor. WiFi says 'internet not available'. Direct connecting to the phone also did not work. Installed CameraFi, which asked me to install CameraFi2, which I did. Not working. Will be returning it.

Incredibly useful little device. I wanted a replacement otoscope as I had lost mine. I mainly use it for checking the kids ears when they have a fever. I stumbled across this and thought I'd give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I didn't use the WiFi dongle as my phone has USB OTG capability and so I can plug it in directly, download an app and I was good to go. The images are incredibly clear and it's very easy to use. Only things I have noticed are that the tip gets a little warm when the LED light is on full - which may be a problem when using it with the kids. Also, the tip is a bit large and there is no indicator on the shaft which way is up and down, that would be helpful because the orientation can be confusing if you're only going by an image on the screen. It seems well made. Would have been nice if it was waterproof but it's easily wiped clean with an alcohol wipe. It comes in a nice sturdy carry case but I was a bit disappointed that the tips of the extensions (which can be used for retrieving things from the external canal) came in such a flimsy piece of plastic. A sturdier plastic box would have been nicer. But overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This unit was being used with a Windows laptop. The instructions were vague and did not reference that the tool uses built-in camera functions that require choosing another input device. Once I was able to get the unit working and providing an image, the image itself was pretty clear, though the unit is fairly large in diameter/circumference and a tight fit in a standard adult ear. After adding the tool to be able to remove wax, the tool does not properly align with the camera view, so you are not able to see what you are doing nor get the tool to align to remove the wax. I ended up having to return the unit.

Good quality wireless interface works perfectly picture very good only issue I have is it is difficult to tell which side is up in the camera so when you are trying to move camera around inside ear you think you're moving it up when the camera goes down you think you're going left when the camera goes right instead of having perfectly round camera maybe they should put a flat spot towards the back on the top so you know which way is up when you're looking at the photos or videos otherwise great quality and works as advertised also works good for looking at other items then just ears all so ear cleaning tips look dangerous and sharp would not think of ever putting them in someone's ear

It was easy to hookup and use, the focal length is very narrow, but I was able to see the wax in my ears. It helped me know when they needed cleaning. I did not use their tools to clean them. I go to a ENT office and have them use a special vacuum tool that works great. Unfortunately the camera light failed after 2 1/2 years and then the computer would not recognize the camera at all.
