Great replacement stuff sack
This works exactly as expected. My wife lost her stuff sack for her zero degree bag. This stuff sack is even better than the one it replaced. It packs down small, the straps and clips work well. We can even stuff her camp pillow in with her bag. Maybe losing the stock one was a blessing in disguise.

Works great as a replacement or a sleeping bag carrier
I tore my sleeping bag holder a while back and unfortunately duct tape as a temp fix is no longer cutting it, so I picked this up as a replacement. Aslo works great as a small laundry bag or just a sack for nick nacks. I use this exclusively for camping, so I'm getting many uses out of it.

Medium size is ideal for packing a pillow!
I know, I know. For many, the idea of packing a pillow on a camping trip is heresy. But I occasionally travel to camps and dorms where I have to bring my own bedding, and space is a premium on those trips. I've found that I can stuff my pillow into this bag and really tighten down the straps. It compresses it into medicine ball size, which makes it a lot better for packing onto a bus or van. It's also sturdier and less prone to tears than the garbage bag that I previously used!

Compression Sack Stuff Bag For Sleeping Bag
It is a nice compression sack made of high-quality material. I use it to decrease the size/bulk of my sleeping bag when camping. It does the job. The straps and buckles are all good quality and secure. It definitely makes a difference in size!

Stuffed a whole sleeping bag in the medium sized one of these!
My trusty 3-season Coleman sleeping bag is probably not the best use case for this stuff sack but it really shows how much the medium sack can hold! Complete sleeping bag stuffing experience below! I think this sack is best used for down jackets, vest, insulated pants, etc. The medium size is perfect for casual camping trips or a long term backpacking adventure. The large size would be entirely too large unless you're car camping or need to compress a large amount of puffy clothing/materials.My Coleman, when rolled up, is wide and stocky. After much finagling, I got it mostly in the sack; enough that I could somewhat cinch the drawstring shut around it. I put the "lid" of the sack on and started tightening the straps one by one - going in a circular order around the sack a couple of times. It was a much slimmer pack down although the sleeping bag gained a few inches in height. I got a decent amount of space saving with the sleeping bag, plus the compression sack makes is a much more uniform size to load up. Most camping gear (tents, chairs, sleeping pads, etc.) are long and slim, not short and wide so this shape will pack much easier.Something to point out - if you're outdoors, this sack will get absolutely filthy. I was dragging this sack all over the ground shoving the sleeping bag in and compressing it. You will probably need a decent amount of strength to get the best compression from this sack. Don't be afraid to put your body weight into it - stick a leg in the sack to really get the bottom compacted. Again, the medium size is not ideal for a sleeping bag but, hey, one fits!Hopefully this is helpful to someone!

Lightweight Stuff Bag
A good, light-duty stuff bag that can hold lots of volume (I ordered the “large” 40L size). Works great to compress clothing and similar items. Just remember that down sleeping bags are designed to be compressed, but most polyester-filled sleeping bags will fight back hard if you try to overly compress them. If you try too hard to jam a polyester sleeping bag into this lightweight stuff bag you may find a way to damage the bag. Plan ahead and check the measurements of the various sizes of bags so you can order the size you need for the task at hand.

Nice compression sack, but way too small.
So I ordered the medium size sack, and it was so small only a childs sleeping bag would fit in it. I have two different sleeping bags, a mummy bag and a Cabela's bag. The mummy bag is rated down to 0 degrees, and the Cabela's bag is rated to 20 degrees. Neither of my bags were anywhere close to fitting in this. It is a very tall, but narrow sack. I tried rolling up my sleeping bag without folding it in half first, and it might have fit width wise, but was to tall, and if I fold it in half like it is supposed to be folded, it was short enough to fit, but way, way to wide. If you have a really small backpacking type sleeping bag, this would be a great compression sack, but if you have a normal sized sleeping bag, the medium sized bag at least is not what your looking for.

Generous size for a "medium." "Large" is huge!
Sportneer Compression Sack Stuff Bag, Size Medium ReviewThese are decent stuff sacks with the added features of carrying handles and VERY thin pockets for storing small, thin odds and ends. The one that is listed as “Medium” in size looks big enough to store most any average-sized down sleeping bag or a thinner synthetic bag. The "Large" is huge. I cannot imagine a use for the "Extra Large!"I have not had the opportunity to field-test these sacks to determine the durability yet, so my review reflects that.
