HEELBO Heel/Elbow Protector SMALL - Yellow Pack: 2

I purchased this for my German Shepherd. She has a hygroma on one elbow so we only wanted to pad that side. I purchased this based on the other reviews and it has been great. The hygroma is significantly reduced since using the Heelbo and my dog doesn't lick it anymore when the pad is off.I started off just using vet wrap to secure the Heelbo at the top to keep it from sliding down. I have since added a 1/2 inch wide elastic band at the top. I sewed the elastic into a band. Then I put the band over the outside of the sock and folded the top of the sock over it. Then I just sewed the top edge of the sock down to the body to make a tube and keep the elastic in place. It works beautifully. I am not good at sewing, but I was able to do this. Just do a search for how to do a stretch stitch.

I bought this product for my foster dog who is a tripod to help support her other leg on the front. I unfortunately have to return this product because it did not fit our 30 lb med size tripod dog. It kept sliding off her shoulder.

I needed some elbow pads for some physical therapy exercises I needed to do, and it seemed hard to find elbow pads locally. I kept finding pads which claimed to be for knees or elbows, which is a generally ludicrous idea. Whose knees and elbows are the same size? That's just silly. Also, many of the pads I found that were specifically elbow pads came as part of a set with knee pads. I already had knee pads, so I didn't really need more. The other things I found were hard-shelled pads designed for sports. I couldn't use those, because what I needed was something to allow me to lean against the wall to do my exercises, and I didn't really want to damage my paint or walls with these hard sport pads.Another problem I found was that the few soft, separately available elbow pads I found were "one size fits all." I am a petite woman, and "one size" items don't fit me. I looked on Amazon, and found that, of the few sized elbow pads available that came in smaller sizes, many of them were designed for sports, even the soft ones, so they were basically over-designed for me, since I basically just needed them for leaning against a wall. These fit the bill. They are soft, they fit, and they are very simple and inexpensive. Just what I needed!I did note that a number of reviewers seemed to have purchased these for their dogs, and many seemed even to labor under the impression that these were intended for dogs, which I found no evidence of in the item description, so I took a chance on them. I'm glad I did, and I would say that if you are petite woman, and just need some very simple, basic elbow pads to use for exercise, these should work for you, and the price is right.

I have been so disappointed in trying to find an elbow protector that fits a small arm. This one is perfect, non-binding with an excellent fit. Washes easily and dries quickly if you turn it inside out. Small enough to fit under a long sleeve blouse or pajamas while providing lots of cushion. This seller has the best price anywhere while providing fast shipping and good communication. I highly recommend this item.

Terrible. Great concept, but can’t get them to stay put on the elbows for my senior Labradors. Could t return them, waste of money, sadly. Really wanted to love these for my fur babies.

Used these on our lab to heal a wound on his elbow. Worked well considering these were for a human. They were a tad big and kept sliding down on their own, but we cut an old pair of suspenders to hold it up. His elbow was protected and healed nicely after a week or so of wearing this.

SUPER SLOW SHIPPING. Took 10 days before pkg was recieved at a shipping facility. Elbow pads work ok...but they do tend to fall off. I'm going to try someone else's suggestion about keeping them on with suspenders. My dog is a 80lb husky, so he is very furry and they slide off.

I know that these are for humans but it worked well for my dogs elbows. It has worked wonders on my boys elbow sores, he tends to lay on his right side more often than not and we needed something to help his cracking sores. Someone on my GSD forum recommended this along with the Elbow butter to help. Within a week of using the pads along with the butter his sores were almost completely healed. You get two in a pack and they are resusable :)
