Nokia 216 (Black)

If you are looking for Nokia brand and just feature phone and i would certainly recommend it. This basic phone will be very useful for people who wants to listen to songs and capture some images (of course it is just 0.3 MP camera). It comes from the brand Nokia which is reliable brand in basic category. Pros: Dual sim is plus point for many people who uses two SIM . Easy navigation for those who try to learn phone usage first time (Applicable to elders who are getting used to) Battery life is very long lasting as many Nokia phones. Sound is good -clear and audible. Loud speaker sound might not be enough , hold on that is decent though. Sturdy phone for long durability. Cons: Price factor is little high but that's okay for a phone to get it from Nokia. We got it for 2350 in Festive sale. Verdict: Recommended if you want only basic feature phone with MP3 player and camera. (Don't expect much from basic phone, because it is to simplify needs).

Pros : 1. Uses widely available BL-5C battery. 2. Flash doubles up as torchlight. 3. Standard dual mini SIM slots. So micro & nano SIMs will work as well if you retained your SIM adapter. 4. Backlit chiclet keypad. 5. Easily removable back cover. 6. Micro-USB charging slot. You can even charge straight from your computer. Cons : 1. No default screen guard pasted like other Nokia phones. 2. Need to remove battery to insert SIM & memory card. 3. Memory card is uncomfortable to remove for those with big fingers due to wierd slot placement. 4. Average build quality as expected from a basic phone. 5. Front+back VGA cam. Atleast 2.0 MP might have been better. Conclusion : A great standby phone. N.B. : 1. I bought the blue colour. It is slightly darker than shown in pic. 2. D-Pad is 4-way only. No center button as in older Nokia phones. Also there's no physical shortcut dual SIM switch/volume/lock key. 3. Package content - phone, charger, battery, earphone, guide.

Very good product with suitable price. I didn't expect front flash module while I bought it from Amazon. You can't get such type of Mobile at this range. This mobile gives you all facilities with a better performance. You can use it's LED flash as torch light and the flashes are Xenon flash light. Except this, all other facilities are available in this mobile phone at this range. Like u can add events in your calendar. Finally I would like to thank Amazon. in for providing me this phone in 5 days. This is my first product which I bought from any online shopping site and I gifted it to my mother in Mother's day. I choosed Amazon bcoz of it's reliable service providing all over the country.

Though the new Series30+ phones are not even comparable to the S40 phones of Nokia's golden age, 216 is still better than most others. About the 216, it has a feel of quality about to it. The keypad and outer shell looks neat.The menu interface is the usual, but is crammed with a bunch of useless applications (Bling,FB,weather,mobile store) that no one is going to use on an entry level phone, just like the secondary forward camera which is just a useless add on a basic phone( But the picture quality is surprisingly acceptable). The display screen is pretty good and some additional display settings ( Color Enhancement and Glance Screen) are available. The loudspeaker is good enough such that this phone may be used as a mp3 player when all other options for entertainment has exhausted. Contacts can be edited to add personal images for each contact, given a micro SD card is slotted. But sadly no personal ring-tones can be assigned like in older Nokias. Five different alarm settings are possible, which is very useful. Because of the 'Selfie' option for the secondary camera ,the left menu key is not available for any other operations in the main screen.The right menu key is customizable as before. The LED flash could have been better to double function as a torch. Other than the unnecessary 'features' , the 216 is a pretty good mobile phone for the basic user. If you want to be a net crack though, don't think about the 216.

Selfie camera is actually not needed. I felt so. For a feature phone selfie camera is a burden this is my opinion. Actually the phone is really superb. But as it is getting aged nokia phones does not have it's old power of battery. I have 3 nokia feature phones out of them this phone is having less battery back up. But it is really good. Even after 7 hrs of calling in 24 hrs of time I have little battery life left in the phone.

Great buy. I have loved the Nokia brand for it's sturdiness and the ease of use. The quality of the device seems okay, but not that amazing. It doesn't feel quite as sturdy as Nokia phones once did. But nonetheless, the phone is good. It has tonnes of features as far as basic phones are concerned. It has a camera that you are never going to use. It also has a front facing camera which i think is unnecessary for a basic phone like this. The battery is same old bl-5c which Nokia is using since like more than a decade. They should have at least made the battery bigger instead of useless front facing camera and flash on the rear which a 0.3 MP camera won't be needing.

I opened the box and was happy seeing the sleek model of Nokia, but then started agony when I tried to use the phone the next day-ie today. The buttons on the phone simply doesnt work. Im unable to switch on phone , cannot receive when calls come or open messages. shuts off suddenly inspite of phone being fully charged. Was a gift for my dad who is 87 years old. Lucky i didnt change the sim and leave this phone in hand while he stayed alone for a week. Else it would have been nightmare for the family to reach him. Shocking to find Nokia product in this poor quality.
