Simthread makes good embroidery thread and this all purpose thread is the same.Strong and smooth thread works great in my Babylock machines.Always good to have a supply of black and white thread on hand!

I'm very pleased with this thread. I'm a beginner with my machine, and I've been running through a lot of thread trying out new stitches, playing around with my machine's capabilities, and learning all of its quirks and nuances. One of my major problems is that thread is not cheap, so experimenting can be a pricy process. Nevertheless, it needs to be done, and this thread provides a fantastic balance of value and quality to do it with.The thread is a soft but durable machine thread, perfect for sewing machines. I love that it isn't course and scratchy but still holds up to quite a bit of stress. There's also quite a bit more of it than I get on a typical spool at my local big box store, and I'm glad for it.

Larger spools, but not so large that you'll have to use a free-standing thread cone holder. Great to have a good quantity of basic colors. Seems non-fuzzy, which is a plus.

Using it just to sew squares for kids whiteboard wipes and the thread keeps breaking every 3 inches while sewing. Single layer fleece and constant broken thread. Awful quality.

Out of four rolls of the Polyester thread . Two roll there was no starting point to start the thread so i can not use them So can only use 2 rolls but paid for four rolls.

I've used several Simthread products in the past and have been very happy with their quality and durability. This is a great thread for mending or other utility sewing. I usually use 50 weight cotton thread and wanted to see how much of a difference I would see with a polyester thread instead. The poly is slightly thicker, but hardly noticeable without really looking closely. The white is a nice, bright white and the black is a true, solid black. My only complaint with this set is one of the spools of black had some fine dirt or lint on the outside that is very difficult to remove. I'll probably end up discarding some of the thread because I don't want that dirt in my sewing machine. This was only on one spool and it's the first time I've ever had an issue with this brand so hopefully it's an isolated anomaly. I decided to use one of the white spools to make a small zip bag for cosmetics, etc. I did not have any problems with this thread knotting or breaking while sewing. It stitched cleanly and I'm happy with the results. It's a strong thread and I'll enjoy using it in future projects.
