We have a multi-cat household (6) and feeding them is just craziness. I have the double bowl product for dry food, and the single ones for wet food. It is amazing how much cleaner the area stays as all the dropped food falls into the silicone tray. The bowls are whisker friendly which I find to be extremely important when I feed my cats. Cats also have a hard time moving them around, they do not slip and slide all over. I would love to see the stainless steel bowl sold separate, so when one cat is done eating I can just pop in another bowl and let another cat eat. It would make it easier for me so I would not have to wash them immediately to reuse. I like this feeding system so well, I have already purchased more, so I can have the extra stainless steel bowls I desired.

We ordered 3 of these for our 2 cats - 1 for each food bowl and 1 for their water bowl. On top of the stainless steel bowl being so easy to clean, I also like the wide and shallow shape, which makes it easy for the cats to eat and drink out of. The grey mat underneat is really helpful because one of our cats is a very messy eater so this helps significantly with clean up. We also had ants recently and in the midst of trying to get rid of them, had to find a solution to stop them from getting into the cat's food bowls. The silicone mat actually provided the perfect solution - we filled it with water, making a sort of moat around the bowl, and since ants don't like to cross water, it immediately solved our problem until we could find a more permanent solution. Highly recommend these mats!

Great way to keep water available for ducklings

It’s a cute bowl with ring. The ring helps my cat to contain her feeding mess, but there are still a few little bits if her dry food that escape the perimeter of the red ring.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great feeder. I like the saucer shape better than the deeper bowls type, especially to serve water. It’s a good size and great quality. There is only one thing that I’m not sure if I like or not... One of my cats likes to splash the water from it. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s too shinny and se sees her reflexion on it, of if she wants to reach the “Messy Cats” logo printed on the bottom of it (how ironic is that?). Loving and annoying at the same time... But this is a peculiar cat who has others bizarre habits (don’t they all?). We have another one and he doesn’t do that at all. Anyways, I do love this saucer.

Very easy to clean. It's cute and my cats are happy with the items. Only thing I wish is that these bowls came with a lid or the option to buy lids separately. There is an option to buy bowls with lids but those don't come with the slip mat. I bought bowls+lids as well but now I have 2 mats, 6 bowls, and only 4 lids. That's my only complaint.

Maybe it's just MY cat who's the problem. Maybe a normal cat is stymied by this product, and fails to make the kind of godawful mess mine does... on a daily basis... without impediment. Or maybe the bowl is a nice idea that simply fails to live up to the reality of a cat who's truly determined to spread water across the entire pantry floor. I don't know.

I purchased two of these cat bowls (purple, marble) and I am stoked. They are a great size, the appearance is pleasing, and most importantly my cat loves them. My cat would tip over his water bowl before and now I no longer have this issue. 10/10 love this product

My cat is probably the messiest puss in the world when it comes to water and food. She digs around her food bowl and spills all the kibble around. Her favourite game is to put toys in her water bowl and splash everything out. So this new Messy Cats bowl has solved all my cat-related problems! I don't have to wipe the floor five times a day anymore, as the silicon lip around the bowl is quite wide to catch everything that falls out of the bowl. The bowl is made of good quality steel and is easy to clean. It's quite wide and shallow which makes it very steady and impossible to tip over. The quality of the product is very good and I'm very pleased with my new purchase.

I have several sizes of these, they work great and really do capture any food or water overflow. The silicone is flexible, washes well and sturdy enough to pick up and dump any water that spills over when drinking. The dish is a good quality stainless steel and holds up, no flaws to cleaning. Highly recommend

These are well worth the money! I have bought several now and they are fabulous! Easy to clean, very durable, and perfect size. The shallow and wide dishes are great. Most other dishes like this are not as wide. I highly recommend these dishes... along with the two pack of rubber snap on lids so left overs don’t dry out!

effectiveness didn't last more than one day

There isn’t much to say about this other than it serves the purpose! I have a double one for wet/dry food (we have a bengal kitten so she eats a lot!) and a single one for water. Any mess gets caught by the silicone base which is what I liked about this. The bowls are stainless steel and nice and low, perfect for cats. Expensive perhaps for a dish but this is all I need - I just wash and refill so as a one off I think it’s worth it. Looks stylish too.
