First time bought it for my sister's daughter. She was 2years then. She was super happy with the product & still plays with it. And now her little brother also playing with it happily. This time I gifted it to my brother's baby & she also liked it very much & it definitely improves cognitive function. Never imagined children will love this toy so much more than expensive ones. So the summary is, it's sturdy & all the children in my family loved it. It makes them happy & keep them engaged for long. It's very sturdy also ( imagine 2 super naughty chilren playing with it for last 2.5 years & it's still perfect). You can definitely go for it.

If it drops from hand or is thrown by kid it opens itself and the duckling pops out all by itself. So, if your kid figures this out then he may not open the eggs one by one. Tbh, when I saw the product I felt my son would never play with it. I did not introduce this toy to him directly. I kept it in the pooja room, where he likes to play with everything (which is not a toy). When he found the toy, he was intrigued and played with it well. We are keeping it in pooja room only coz he thinks it's used in pooja too. It also helps us in distracting him from making mess (let's see for how long). The quality is average. It's definitely not a must buy toy. Buy if your budget allows. Edit ~ increasing a star as my kid loves it.. He loves to arrange it and spins the eggs as "lattooo". Our purpose to keep him distracted from other non-playing stuffs accomplished.

Had bought this for my baby when she was not even 2,if I remember correctly. now she is 5 and still plays with these. They are of good quality plastic and sturdy and won't break while being roughly handled by small babies.The small duck in the smallest egg can be kept away from small babies (it's not too small to pose a checking hazard) if you overly fear it.My kid never put it her mouth not was it too small to pose a danger to her.Coz it's a lil hard and bigger sized ducky than we can imagine.Good purchase for kids.

My kid loves to watch the Open Open Surprise videos. so I bought this as the original are costing in thousands. In the box I got 4eggs and one Duck doll. I already had cute plastic animal toys in my home, I used those to keep it inside eggs to make him play the surprise game. Good thing about these are, - The plastic of these eggs are High quality one. - Child can close and open the very smooth. (THIS I liked very much because most of the toys to make it fit we have to make it align or do some specific rotation. For this nothing to do. It is very easy). My two year kid is opening and closing it very easy.

There's just one con, so let's begin with it. The product description says "5" eggs.But there are just 4. Once you come to terms with this, the rest is all good. I was a bit sceptical about buying this product because many of the reviews mentioned that the eggs have a very loose fit. However, after seeing my son play with it, I realized that even if it may seem loose to us, tiny hands that are learning to open things find it easy to play with. I bought this item when my son was about 8 months old. He is over a year old now, and he still loves playing with it. The tiny yellow chick in the center goes with him everywhere, even in the bath. At 8 months, we placed different surprises in each egg and he opened the egg to find new things inside. Then we moved on to giving him the assembled the egg and he used to open them all. He giggled endlessly when he could find the yellow chick inside. He learns colors using the eggs too. He finds new ways to play with these eggs. He stacks similar sides of the eggs one on top of the other to create a tiny tower. And many other games that only he understands. :)
