Instant and convenient bug-free shaded area!
I got this screen tent to use camping. I have a regular instant pop-up canopy, but it is bulky and heavy. I though this could be an alternative when space is an issue and there is no rain in the forecast! It is super easy to set up – just pop it open! I am only 5’3”, so I was not able to fully set it up by myself without a step stool, but my husband is 6’1” and had no problems putting in the poles and adhering the Velcro supports and had plenty of head room to spare. It sags if the poles are not put in, again not an issue for the shorties! But, taller folks will want to put them in. Once set up, it is very spacious! I got the 10x10 and feel it has ample room to comfortable fit a couple chairs and small table. Or maybe a couple instant hammocks for lounging in the shade and having bug protection! The mesh screen is effective at keeping out mosquitoes, flies, and other insects while still allowing airflow. There is no floor though and there are some gaps in the corner flaps unless you stake it in the ground. The materials used for the canopy feel strong and durable. I don’t think it is designed for harsh weather conditions but is a reliable and spacious canopy that serves its purpose well in fair weather and provides good protection from the sun and bugs. Take down might take some practice, but it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. The instructions and pictures helped – think of it like a folding up an oversized windshield shade. I do wish the included bag gave a little extra room for packing it back up because it always takes a little work to get it back in and zipped up!

It's huge
Not as easy to fold back up as the video made it look, but it is easy to set up and has a lot of room inside.

Easy to fold up
Not only does this tent pop up in like 2 seconds, but putting it away is super easy too. Nothing worse than a quick pop-up tent that is then very difficult to put away. But this Werph tent really was actually very easy to fold up and put away. Just fold it in half, then in thirds, then twist it up into a circle like a car windshield shade. As I saw another reviewer say, you really don't even have to put the poles across the top if you don't need the extra height. It is stable without them. But with the poles installed, I am 6'5" and there was plenty of headroom to spare, it's really tall. It's got 2 doors on it, on opposite sides, so if you're just using it for shade, and not for bugs, then you can open both doors and get a cross-breeze going through it, because even though it's all screened, it's warm as soon as you get into it.It is bigger and heavier than expected.Overall though, the tent itself seems to be of excellent construction and is well engineered to be as easy as possible to set up and tear down. It provides a large area inside to easily hold your whole family comfortably. I like it a lot and definitely recommend it!

Folds up small but provides a lot of space - nice tent!
I went with the 10x10 version and I'm glad I did! It's got plenty of space. With all of the poles, stakes and guy wires in place, this tent is plenty sturdy for light-to-moderate breezes. Like any tent, you have to keep an eye on it as the wind picks up and make the call to pull it down BEFORE things get out of hand.Re-folding is probably my biggest complaint. After seeing this mentioned on reviews here, the first time I opened the tent, I unfolded it very slowly and tried to pay attention to how it went back together. This helped, but it's still a little more "fiddly" than I'd like. If you use it regularly it will become habit - but I will only use it a few times a year so I'll probably never get to the point that it's "easy" for me.

Great screen tent
This is a great screen tent. Easy to pop open and put away similar to the sun shade in a car. You just fold and twist. Lightweight and roomy. Great to use at the beach, lake or river for a food tent. Also a great additional to the camping supplies, helps keep those pesky bugs out of our way.

Easy to set up; to fold up needs practice and patience
I have the 6X6 canopy and it is a good size for 1 to 2 people with camp chairs. The mesh screen is a tight weave good for most biting insects and the door zipper works smoothly. This is very easy to set up from the compact. folded state....it literally pops open but you will have to adjust it to set it up properly. I am a bit over 6 feet tall and once you install the fiberglass shock-corded poles to the roof, there is plenty of head room. There are 8 high quality stakes for the 4 corners and 4 hold down cords (included). Everything is contained in a zippered carry bag with web handles. There are web loops for the corner stakes and hold down cords. It is very easy to set up, but to get it folded down for transport or storage takes some practice. The instruction manual is somewhat helpful for this, but the best help was the short video as part of the product description. Once you start to get it to the folded stage, I found it helpful to try pressure at different points, then when you hit the sweet spot, it folds right up. Put I stress, you need to practice this several times before your activity. This is not a great sun shade it really warm weather since the mesh screen hinders air flow and the inside will get stuffy in the sun.

Goes up in seconds
This goes up in seconds and actually does fit back in the bag. What a fun little screen tent. What we really need is a 3-season porch but it isn't in the budget this year. With all the rain we have had the mosquitos have been insane! We hadn't been able to spend any time outside in our yard or outside of our camper when we are camping. It has been the same story all summer long. We've been hopping from vehicle to structure all summer. This has been ultra portable and is giving us a spot to sit outside and have an opportunity to be a little closer to nature without being covered in bugs. We have taken it in the yard, to the sand-bar on the river, camping and everywhere else we can think of. Set up and take down is easy. Absolutely recommend.
