This is a great case! I'm very pleased with the look, feel and protection that it offers for my P9P XL. The optional different color button accents are a nice touch (I went with yellow). The case fits the phone perfectly, the volume and power buttons work without a problem, even when swapped out. The magsafe magnets are strong and hold accessories very well. One underrated detail often overlooked with cases is the ease of putting them on and taking them off and this Torras case is very easy to install and remove when needed. One minor flaw is that the material on the back of the case does attract smudges, but I keep an ohsnap attachment that negates that for the most part. For around $20 you can't beat the value that you get for the look and protection this case offers. It's not too bulky, not too slim, it's just right.

I have used Torras's magsafe-capable phone cases for Pixel's 6,7,8 & now 9, specifically P9 Pro XL. Case fit has been perfect in for each phone. The magsafe magnet is adequately strong to make good connection to an Apple MagSafe charging ring, so wireless charging may proceed without interruption. I tried a few other MS-capable cases where the the case material was too thick by perhaps only a millimeter, thus compromising the wireless induction field which causes the phone's battery to recharge. These cases appear to function properly at first, but charging would occur only intermittently. These tricky cases take some time for one to deduce the defect, which does not happen with Torras. Torras magsafe cases work! I really like the high visibility buttons included with Torras case. I used the yellow buttons on all my Pixels to make it easier to see in low light. The colored buttons work the same as the standard black ones, and these all perform without compromising the phone's button function. I am surprised that more case brands have not yet adopted this low-cost / high-utility bonus feature. The Torras case appears to provide protection for the inevitable accidental phone drop. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is a large heavy phone, which makes the job of a protective case more challenging. I have dropped this phone 3-5 times now in the past 10 months, and (hoping this does not jinx me) phone is still mint condition. Screen, camera lens, everything undamaged & like new. I also later purchased a very similar Torras magsafe case for a Galaxy S25+. For whatever reason, Torras' newer cases appear to be significantly slicker in the hand. I believe Torras and other phone case makers have adopted a new slippery polymer formula which supposedly reduces fingerprints & dirt, at the cost of increasing the likelihood you will drop your phone. So be on the lookout for these slippery cases. HTH, good luck.

This was a first Torras phone case I bought, and I am impressed. I used to be that guy who buys cheap cases for my phones and called it a day, this is the first time I bought a case that's $20+, and it is definitely worth the money. Fit and finish was top notch, and it looks better than the way more expensive OEM case that Google sells. Pros: - Looks great with my Pixel 10 Pro XL, Fit/finish is top notch. - It is not a thick case but offers great protection. - You can swap the side buttons to different colors to add your personal touch. - The grippy material around the sides are smooth and nice to hold. Cons: - The only minor gripe I have is that the matt-finished back isn't fingerprint-proof, but it shouldn't affect my rating for this wonderful case.

This is my preliminary review after 2 days of use: PROs: + Beautiful looking case + Good secure fit, easy installation + Works well with my non-magsafe wireless chargers (original Pixel stand) and TYLT charger. + Love the ability to change out the color buttons + Smooth feeling in hand without being too slippery. It is leather-like in how grippy it is . + Healthy amount of lip protection all around the screen and camera lenses. Could be PRO OR CON: +/- The "G" logo on the phone is actually centered within the magsafe ring on my Pixel 9 Pro XL despite the Amazon photos showing otherwise (see attached picture). I notice that this is one of few cases i've seen where it's centered, so im wondering whether or not this will really work on a magsafe charger. I've seen some other comments saying that the magsafe charging doesn't work, but i haven't been able to test it myself. +/- The strength of the magnetic ring is not quite stong enough to hold the phone on the side of a flat metal surface. But if the case is empty, then it will hold. I know this is not how it's meant to be used but this is just to give you an idea of how strong the magnet is. However, i have used this on a couple magsafe compatible mounts for the car and found that the force is sufficient on the Peak Design vent mount and very strong on the Ugreen vent mount. CONs: - Although the text of the listing says it's BLACK, most of the photos in the listing show a slightly navy blue tint. I feel like it would've been more attractive in this bluish color. Unfortunately, this appears to be an issue with almost all black Torras cases listed on Amazon. It could just be a color temperature issue with their photos, but i wish that they would fix it to reflect the real color of their cases. - Despite having a matte finish on the hard polycarbonate back, it can still develop fingerprints and oils, though not as bad as a shiny back. - I wish it was slightly gripper. There is a texture but its not really visible to the naked eye. I attached a close-up of the grip texture (see attached pics). It doesn't quite match the close-up texture shown in the listing pictures. - There is roughly a 1mm gap all the way around the lens bar, which makes it not an exact fit (see attached pic). I worry that dust or lint might gather in that area. - The buttons are slightly skinnier than the buttons on the phone. I wish they would've kept it the same size for ease of actuation. Despite this, the actuation force and tactility is nice. - The lip is raised at the same thickness all the way around the screen, which is aesthetically pleasing and good for protection, but not great for swiping back with your thumb since it catches the lip more during use. I prefer cases where only the lips at the top and bottom are raised and the side lips are lowered for ease of access/use. - I don't know if this was an oversight by Torras, but the holes in front of the SIM slot partially covers up the slot in a weird way and I can't think of a reason for it (see picture).

TL;DR: Well designed case, swappable buttons, solid build. Would recommend. Ever since I moved away from just buying all black phones, I've been hunting for reliable clear cases. This one feels like it meets the mark. It's all clear except the magsafe, so it shows off my hazel P9PXL. It has a solid build, not like those full tpu cases. I think it has tpu edges and polycarbonate back. The buttons are clicky and have a good feel, but the best part is that the case comes with clear buttons out of the box and can be swapped for orange or white - which are both included. (Had to swap to orange as a small Panda P2XL nod) The magnets are super strong and hold the few accessories I've tested with more force than expected. The sides are smooth and have a generally plesent feeling. It does feel like it could be a little slippery if wet or sweaty, but it doesn't feel any different than any similar cases. I've only ever had one case with sandpapery sides that felt secure in all conditions. There is a decent enough lip around the screen and camera that should provide adequate protection from drops and prevent both from actually contacting the ground. There is actually slightly more camera protection compared to Spigen ultra hybrid (3rd pic) Last, the phone fits snugly inside the case. It actually made an audible "click" as it got pushed into place. Fit and finish seem well done. Thanks for reading this far lol

Case is great, I had another one of their cases on my pixel 7 pro so when I got the new phone this is the first case I got. Fits great, and it will allow the phone to charge on some wireless chargers. I am not sure how it will attach to mag safe because I don't currently have any mag safe chargers but I think it will work well. The only thing it doesn't work with so far is the pixel stand 2 but that is a known issue for the phone. Phone will slowly charge with out a case on it, and is a non issue for me. I love the way the case feels in my hands and I expect I will wear the case out over the next few years like my last one. I never had to replace it. Not a paid review, I just really love this case and the companies products. One cool thing is you can change the buttons out so I put the orange ones in to distinguish it from other phones, I might pop in the lime green ones for fun. it takes a few seconds. cool feature. Torras, make more color buttons that we can buy!!! I just wanted to update this review, I had an issue with this case, and I contacted Torras support on their website and I filled in all the required information, and was contacted very quickly by customer support. They sent me a new case at no cost and it arrived in a couple days. Yesterday, 2/6/26 I was using my phone and got hit by a slamming door and the phone went flying down out of my hand and smacked very hard on a concrete floor. I was nervous about the camera bar and the back of the phone when I picked it up. I took the case off and there was no damage, not a mark, nothing. It sounded brutal but the case absorbed everything. There is a reason why I have used torras cases on my pixel phones the last few years. They work! Thank you to Jacky for your help and quick attention with my issue.

After seeing another review using dBrand's teardown skin for the Pixel 9 with this clear case and orange buttons, I was really excited to go for the same look on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. I received the case fairly quickly, and after waiting an eternity for the dBrand skin to arrive and quickly applying it and subsequently putting the case on, imagine my disappointment to discover that the magnet ring does not align with the wireless charging coil in the skin, like it seemed to perfectly for the other reviewer here (who does not appear have a Pro XL as far as I could tell). The ring is off center, closer to the top of the phone/case than the bottom. More importantly though, the case is very slippery on the sides, zero texture. Holding it in my hand with a decent amount of pressure (not lightly), I can see/feel the phone sliding down in my hand. When flipping the phone over face down flat on a table to silence it for example, it takes a few tries to pick the phone back up because my fingers keep slipping off the edges, and I have to apply some significant pressure to just pick it up, and also for fear that it might slip out of my fingers and drop. Not grippy at all. I added a couple stars because I love the swappable buttons, orange in particular, and they feel nice and clicky. Also if you don't mind the slippery sides and off center magnet ring, the quality does seem good and it would look really nice with some other skins most likely, and likely would offer good protection. The cutouts align properly as well, which is an improvement over some of the other TORRAS cases.
