This is such a cool night light to have beside the bed! I love it. It might be decorative, but it is a useful decorative piece. If you love books and love to read in bed, you will love this night light, just to have it, whether it is functional or not!

I chose this item to use as a nightlight on a trip with my husband. It is really cuter than you can imagine! It comes in a beautiful box, perfect for gift giving. It’s wrapped well and looks just like the adventure book from the movie “Up”. It has a magnetic closure to hold it open when you want it lit up. Also would look great on a shelf closed up as an album/book. This would be good for older kids or teens, but I would not recommend for use in a younger child’s room unless on a high shelf, as the lantern part is made of a paper material.I haven’t used it multiple times yet, so I can comment on battery life. But there is a charger cord included.

I love the design of it being like a magical book and not just a folded lamp! I can let it sit flat on the table and then surprise people when I open it! XD It is relatively small, but I feel like if it was any bigger, it would be too big when you open it. This size is perfect just for me so when it's closed it doesn't take up too much space on the table. The manual came with directions for Bluetooth and all of these other light functions, but I saw no such capabilities so I'm not sure what that was for. The lamp functions are pretty straight forward. First open is the warm light (which btw I prefer because that's the one I like to use), second open is the white light, and third open switches between the two. The nice thing is that if you don't reopen it right away, it resets and starts on the warm light again. I don't like having to flip through all of the options lol. If the book accidentally flips close, I just wait a second then open it and it will be on the warm light again. Speaking of which, the book does like to close on itself. You have to keep it fully open for a decent amount of time before it becomes more flexible. It has magnets that allow you to open it 360 - or for some fun stick it on the fridge lol. When the battery starts to run out, the light slowly gets dimmer, so you know before it completely shuts off. I love this book light! It's nice right before bed when you want to get cozy.

This book is very small, which makes it easy to display. It looks great! It's hard to get it to lay flat, but I presume that will improve over time. It's overly-touchy, changing color temperatures when you don't want it too. It has a rechargeable battery, which is essential. Overall it's a charming display piece.

This Adventure Book Night Light is freaking neat. I love the nod to the movie Up!. It's giving adult Disney vibes, but the classy version lol It's just really cool. A decorative item that is actual practical and makes to be a bright nightlight. I love that you can change the temperature of the light to fit your mood, or your task. I rather have warm temps for reading and cool temps if I need to find something on the floor. It looks great whether lit or just chillin' as a book end.5/5 absolutely worth the buy

I am so delighted by the quality of this light! When closed, it looks exactly like a hard cover pocket book, about 4 in x 6 in and .75 in thick. The design is also great, like a certain adventure book from a movie. The USB C charging port is tucked away facing the top edge of the book, easy to access and doesn't detract from the look of the light. This has three light modes - warm or cool, and a mode that dims rotating between both colors.The manual it came with seems to be for a different model as it mentions modes and a remote that this did not come with. But those weren't things mentioned in the product description so no real complaint there.It's also not very bright, so don't count on this lighting up a room, but could be a great night light or decorative shelf light.Overall, I'm loving this portable rechargeable light and will probably buy another one (or two).

An adorable nightlight for kids that is simple to use and long lasting, the only thing that would make this better in my opinion would be the addition of a 15 minute timer feature to allow it to work for a certain period of time at night then shut off - this would prolong the battery and allow even more night time use, as kids don't need a light once they're asleep! The light is exceptionally bright and throws light everywhere thanks to the accordion pages, and has survived even a 1.5 year old's "inquisitive" (read as "how do I break this") handling! Opening the book multiple times to change colors or change to a cycling fade mode is very clever and allows for something different as well. A solid recommendation for any kids, and a cute little light for camping and adults too!

...it doesn't stay open! other than that, it's nearly perfect. the outside is UP! themed and it matches the outside identically. would recommend.
