Very durable backpack and very comfortable
have almost completed my first year of law school. For almost the entire year, I used my backpack from undergrad. It was a pretty good expensive Swiss Gear backpack, but it wasn’t big enough and way past it’s prime after giving me a great 5 years. I knew I needed another one, but the backpack I was going to get had to be a miracle worker. My law school textbooks are massive. Since my Swiss Gear backpack wasn’t big enough, I often had to juggle carrying several books into the school from the parking lot and because they’re so big, it was a struggle. I did some vague searches for backpacks on here, but was not impressed by anything I saw because most of the backpacks were similar to the one I already had. Then, my mom got to work researching and found this backpack. Let me tell you now, it holds everything and more. I rarely write Amazon reviews (I’m in law school, I have no time to sleep, much less write reviews), but I knew I had to write a review for this backpack for fellow students of the law or any other program with massive books that is looking for an amazing backpack. In the picture I posted alongside this review, that is just the middle pocket. Inside that pocket, you can’t even see in the picture everything I have inside of there. That’s how much room it has. In that middle pocket I have: a wooden book stand, a padfolio.

So far it seems to be made of quality material!
I have used this for several months now, the zippers have withstood opening and closing several times a day. I use it to hold two cellphones (a Samsung Galaxy s10 and a Galaxy Xcover Pro, both have Otterbox cases) as well as portable charger and 6 foot usb-c cord, it is quite capable of holding all of this plus (I haven't used the outer pocket yet).If you have one or two of the larger sized cellphones, it may not be what you want but it is perfect for my needs! The exterior seems to be fairly sturdy as well as the stitching, the belt loops have held out well (so far any way). I think it also came with a shoulder strap(?) which I have not used.It also has a spot off to one side to hold a pen or marker, which I do like!I have tried several different cellphone holders/holsters both canvas as well as leather cases, both ended up wearing out (stitching tearing out, &/or belt loops or case material tearing or the zipper breaking). This case has held out pretty decently for all the wear and tear that I have put it to!I really do highly recommend this case above and beyond most others I have seen and used!

Decent Materials. IFFY Construction. Weak Stitches. Shorter Than Stated. Largest Phones Don't Fit.
Purchased on 03-09-2024 for $6.99.I had hoped to use this for small, personal items like phone, wallet, keys, car remote, pen, penlight, etc., then attach the pouch to the shoulder strap of my backpack. Quick access within easy reach. The length of the case is given as 6.9", and my phone with protective case is the same length. Good to go, I thought. My preferred method would be to slip the phone in the outer pocket for quicker access, so I tried it. Nope, the pocket isn't wide enough.Okay, I'll go with Plan B and place it in one of the zippered compartments. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. That claimed 6.9" length is more like 6.5". My phone won't even fit in the main compartment. Bad.So, my plan of using this with my phone is out the window. It may work with small to medium phones, but not with the largest phones. As far as the quality of the materials and construction, the materials look fine. Nothing glaringly wrong that I can see, but I can't say the same about the pouch's construction. The stitches that assemble the pouch are iffy. The stitch length---Stitches Per Inch (SPI)---is just too long/wide, especially since it's just a single stitch. I can see it unraveling somewhat easily. (There are some reviews that indicated that the stitches were problematic. I can see why.)For strength and durability, the stitches need to be tighter, MUCH tighter. What troubles me even more is that the PALS webbing and the MOLLE straps are only secured with the same weak, single-row stitching. PALS webbing takes a lot of stress from tugging and pulling, so a low SPI combined with just a single row isn't favorable toward this being robust and durable. It's akin to using drywall screws to attach missile racks on the wings of a fighter jet.Another issue with the construction is how the male half of the snaps is attached. There is no reinforcement backing/patch on the backside. Without the reinforcement, the snap can separate and pull out from use. (I also saw a couple of reviews about issues with the snaps tearing the fabric.)The saving grace is that this pouch is inexpensive. But, since it can't do what I bought it for, price becomes moot. Back it goes.

Carries a lot
I needed a belt holder for my phone a holder for my battery, hearing aid accessories and keys. This has enough pockets to carry all, plus it also carries my charging cable for the battery. Well-rounded holder.

Handy/good for the price
I actually bought this twice. I got it once from "another company", and it wasn't really durable. It lasted a year before it ripped around the snaps. I bought it again on here because my daughter's father liked it so much!! I'm hoping this one was made more durable. But if not, I know it should make it a year. That's worth the money in my opinion because this one was inexpensive. I gave it five stars because he liked it so much. Men don't have many options because of unnecessary stigma of carrying a bag. I feel like this is a good option (or a shoulder bag) if you have a guy in your life worried about that.
