Absolutely stunning cards for any purpose in Taro reading

After reading reviews that this deck was blurred or poor quality, I am super pleased. The illustrations are from another world. I cannot stop looking at them. Definitely a collectors deck, or for more advanced readers… or just for those that love Ceccoli’s work. Very like Xu Wang!

Just stunning, I felt an immediate connection with these cards, they are just magical and so very beautiful, images are dreamlike and whimsical and they draw you in. I felt compelled to keep looking back at them, I was amazed at their ease to use. I recommend these to anyone, this deck and artwork shows amazing talent. I will be ordering the little bag to keep them in now.

Fancy tarot deck.

These are beautiful cards, so much to look at with each card . I am a professional Tarot Reader and this Tarot deck so far is my favourite and I intend to use this deck a long time . Very good cards for those who are a student of the Tarot ...

Love, love, love this deck! The images are just beautiful and I connected with it immediately. Very pleased. Its dissapointing that it only comes with a little white book, as do most lo scarabeo decks, with several language translations inside so dont expect anything but a few basic key words for each card. The box is flimsy and a basic cardboard box thats bound to fall to pieces fairly quickly if you are going to use your deck often. Why oh why cant they make tarot boxes like oracle decks come in from blue angel or hay house?! Hence the deduction of a star. The cards have roman numerals on the major acana and no names and the minors have ace to 10 numbered at the top with the symbol for its suit at the bottom. I find this a plus as its less of a distraction and the cards are less 'cluttered' with unnecessary words and translations (something lo scarabeo decks are known for). The court cards have symbols for each which at first glance do look quite similar but after a while are easily learned. The cards have a thin white border all around the image. The backs of the cards are beautiful and the card stock is ok and again typical of this publishers decks. Its easy to shuffle and feels lovely to just hold. It doesnt always obviously follow the rider-waite-smith format so some may find it not as easy to read with straight out of the box if you prefer more traditional looking decks but I personally found it good to read with as it had different angles to see the card meaning from. I find it's quite an intuitive deck that speaks to me and I love it, its fast becoming one of my faves dispite the usual gripes with the lo scarabeo packaging and little white books. Its a gem of a deck that im sure im going to treasure and use for a long time.

Gorgeous cards. Probably not a beginners set but the artwork makes them worth buying whoever you are and every look at them opens up new surprises.

This deck is so beautiful and for a beginner like myself who interprets tarot a bit differently, it really is a wonderful deck. The imagery is sometimes a bit out there, but I always read cards differently than what is 'default' anyway. The artwork gives me a whimsical sort of feeling when I do a reading, and I love how smooth the cards feel. I really love the symmetrical backs of the cards, as my first (and only other deck) has an asymmetrical back so I could tell if the card was upright or reversed. This deck is very easy to read if you enjoy interpreting the cards yourself first without much knowledge of what each card means specifically. The booklet might not be too in-depth for people who are in need of a booklet, but I actually really love how simple it is. It doesn't have any of the reversed meanings, which is the only downfall, but there are multiple languages which might be why (for size). I usually use a website to help me with the meanings of cards, so I don't really have an issue with the booklet. I love the 'key words' bit at the end of each card, except for the page/knight/queen/king, since the booklet treats them like a person (ex. 'this person is a leader, etc.') I love the box it comes in as I am able to carry it with me in my knapsack. The cards are good quality, although the way that I shuffle them (spread out on a flat surface and I move them around with both hands in a bit of a mess), some cards have little knicks on them that I can only notice if I hold the card up to light and very close to my eye. I don't have a problem right now with that, since that makes me feel more connected with the deck. I find this deck a lot easier to connect with as a very intuitive beginner tarot reader, since I found with my previous deck, I would always interpret the cards completely differently than what is generally considered the 'default' meaning. With this deck, it helps me to find the answer to my question in a way that I am able to interpret in my own way, personally, so I really like that. And again, the artwork is just gorgeous. Maybe some of the artwork assigned to the cards are a bit of a stretch in terms of the general symbolism of the cards, but I have no problem with finding the main point of each card. Some of the cards & artwork really really fit well, too! Almost spot on. I am so happy I got this deck, as I find it makes me want to do readings more often than my other deck. Even just for the artwork alone, this deck would be great for anyone as long as they don't mind looking online for in-depth meanings of cards. Anyone who has issues with interpreting the deck should just stick to more generic decks that have the default symbolism, as the deck is easy enough to read if you aren't stuck on the 'exact' meanings of tarot cards.

I found spots on several cards that are visible under bright light. The box arrived slightly worn and damaged, and the bottom of the box looks different from other reviews I found online, which raised concerns. Since I purchased it directly from Amazon US, I really hope this is an authentic deck. The deck doesn’t feel brand new to me. The print appears quite faded, and there is a noticeable smell. I should have looked more closely at the 1–2 star reviews, but I only realised this while writing my own review. This made me wonder whether there are different production batches for Black Friday sales. If so, it would be helpful to disclose this so customers can set realistic expectations. Unfortunately, this isn’t the only Lo Scarabeo deck I’ve received with issues, and because of these repeated experiences, I’m hesitant to purchase another one from Lo Scarabeo. I hope the publisher can improve overall quality and quality control.

Die Karten liegen toll in der Hand, sind angenehm zu mischen und die Bilder sind für mich intuitiv sehr gut lesbar. Die Bedeutung im booklet - wenn auch natürlich die üblichen Tarotbedeutungen - haben eine leicht andere einfärbung und passen damit prima zu shadow und inner child work. Wunderschöne Bilder und in Lesungen wirklich manchmal unheimlich spot on und deutlich.
