Ortho Grass-B-Gon Weed & Grass Killer

I have a quite uncontrollable grass infestation in one part of my garden and have tried to dig it out many times without success. I purchased 2 Grass-B-Gone as a last resort because I did not know what else to do save killing everything in the areas with strong weedkiller and starting all over again. I am please to say this stuff really worked. However I needed to put 4 separate applications (but there is a lot of grass) and it has taken a few weeks for it to die back but it has worked. I have just bought another one to make sure the grass does get finished off once and for all.

long delivery time as maybe not available in UK?? it does work but soon used up spraying onto tall grass coming through other plants -- difficult to get enough spray on the thin grass. also very expensive .. but provided you can coat the grass it will kill it and not damage the other plants.

I think perhaps I had expectations that were too high because this product was pretty much useless for killing the weeds and grass where I wanted.Perhaps it is more suitable for lightly grassed areas that have minimal weeds.

Worked really well to kill just the grass that was growing among and between other plants.

Been looking for something for ages to remove grass from creeping shrubs. This works amazingly! Bottle said it would take 2-4 weeks for it to work. I noticed dead grass in under two weeks. You do need to pull the dead grass out. But, it’s dead and gone now!!!

I communicated with ortho company to recommend the product that will eliminate nutsedge they informed me to get this product and I followed the steps as recommended, but unfortunately no effect no result. Moreover, they told me to ask amazon to refund!!!. How can be that ?! The product is fully consumed based on their instructions!!!!!

Was not available to find this selective herbicide locally so ordered here. Does exactly what it supposed to where it kills grass and left every other surrounding plant in tact Took 2 treatments over a couple weeks - but the grass that was growing up through the bushes yellowed out and died :)

I have bermuda grass around 2 side boards of my 6'x10' garden bed (16 linear feet). I used three quarters of this bottle soaking the grass from leaf tops to the ground along the 16-foot wooden border. The grass never even flinched -- see the photos from 3 days later. It has been two weeks now, with no effects besides a ton of new growth, even from clovers and other plants that I wouldn't consider as sturdy as bermuda grass. This bottle might as well been full of water and fertilizer. It did smell terrible, so I believe it wasn't water, but I think it actually helped the grass through some of the California drought. Total nonsense.

I've had this before so will go ahead and do a quick review. It works. You are supposed to spray it when the sun is out and it will dry fairly quickly. Also, you must be patient because it takes about two weeks for the grass to completely die off. There are some plants like day lilies and any that have grass-like or lance-like leaves it will kill along with that horrid Bermuda grass so be careful about that. It did burn a little of some ornamental plant but not badly and it's worth it, Roundup is too much trouble with lots of grass and plants mixed together. I can update my review when I use it on some regular grass that has taken over a large section of my front border mixed with dianthus and other plants in the spring, will try to do B4 and after photos. Using it now, the grass will just come back from seeding. I am very leery about using chemicals because of possibly being hazardous to health but this one doesn't worry me, think I did use latex gloves just in case.
