Organic Bronze Body Shimmer Lotion – Shimmer & Sparkle For All Skin Types – Chemical Free Shimmering Moisturizer by Glimmer Goddess

I'm on my third bottle of this lotion- and i love it! from all the shimmering lotions i've tried (and there were many) - this one is the best!it has the best consistency of being between oil and body lotion. the quality of the ingredients is clearly evident and it just glides on, nourishes the skin really well and absorbs quickly. it feels luxurious, without being heavy or oily/dripping. the scent is also great, and - luckily - evaporates pretty quickly, so it's not overwhelming or competing with any perfume i might have on.i personally prefer the shimmer lotions with fine glitter in them (vs. the type that has those 'micro' things that on me just make my skin look oily/shiny/reflective, without actually adding actual "sparkle" particles. the gold shimmer of this lotion is simply stunning- while i started with only using this lotion for special date nights, i now actually wear it - applied in moderation - to the office, too :). the shimmer flakes are extremely fine and delicate, they are more matte-finish, so they don't look glitzy or reflective as some of the cheaper looking larger-size glitter out there. they also apply evenly so you don't get streaks, and create a delightful twinkle that i've received a lot of compliments on. i also tried their Whipped Body Butter, and while it is also a great product and gives a similar glow, i find that controlling the amount to be applied is easier with the lotion bottle.i also tried their Diamond shimmer lotion: the first bottle was not a good fit (more silver than pearly-diamond) but they replaced the bottle with an amazing ivory-pearl color that loos awesome. BTW- as reference, i'm an extremely pale Caucasian, and both the Gold color and the new Diamond shimmer add a really nice 3D twinkle, without looking cheap or too contrasting with my skin tone. Both actually look classy :) - they are not too overpowering that you can't wear it every day, or that you end up looking like "Goldfinger" or like you're dressed for a nightclub.lastly, like another reviewer said, after applying, you are left with gold shimmer on your hands. i consider that a given- since you do need to use your hands to apply it. i don't consider it an issue since it's easy to just wash my hands after. In addition, some of the shimmer may flake on to clothes or bed sheets (depending on how much you apply)- i also think that is expected, and i actually enjoy the occasional minor spark residue on my clothes.bottom line- this is the best shimmer body lotion i've tried. it's an excellent product - luxurious, nourishing, with a very subtle, yet noticeable, glow. highly recommended!

I really enjoy this product. I would have liked a more prominent shimmer but this is nice.Warning: this is more of a body oil than a lotion. This works well for me, but I wasn't expecting that. You also need to shake it up well (one of the main ingredients is coconut oil.) I find that running the bottle under hot water helps liquify it to make it easily spreadable.I wouldn't buy this again only because I wanted a shimmer lotion, not an oil but it works well anyways.

I used this today after my shower, after putting on my regular moisturizer first, of course. Shake up the bottle good or you will get some goop. Well, I used it and love it. Makes my skin feel so moisturized and rich in tone. The lotion glimmers and twinkles incredibly. Anyone that says this stuff does not work well is nuts. You just have to learn or know how to use products like this. I recently bought a high-grade self bronzer/tanner and I love it, too. Exfoliation is they key to making anything last longer on your skin. So exfoliate after your shower and bronze up with this nice glimmering lotion!*****

Wanted to use for some time before rating. After checking with maker of the product (SUPER service) I found I could mix with my normal lotions to reduce the shimmer. Being a 'seasoned' woman I did not want to over do the effects. I use a fairly small amount, very well mixed with my extreme moisturizing lotion, and it turns out for me perfect. I did not rate the moisturizing very high but it may be more than I am personally finding in the way I use it. The scent is light, pleasant and does not linger extensively. Considering the small use I employ, it is not expensive. A high user might find a difference in value for the money. I am exceptionally happy with results of the product in the manner I use it. The customer service is fabulous and I have compliments when wearing. The only possible down side, which I do not find a show stopper at all, is a little transfer of the 'sparkles' to clothing. My guess is a person that uses more than I do might see a lot more transfer of the shimmer/sparkle on places not wanted. To sum up, I am a very pleased user and will probably re-order when getting low on product.

I bought this because the glitter up I normally use is out of stock everywhere! I am pleased. The fine glitter isn't to big, and there is a lot of it. My only complaint is that even after shaking it up for a couple of minutes, it still was a bit separated when I squeezed it onto my hand. Nice smell, and like that's it's organic. I am a football mom, + this looks great on, During games, and even in the evenings at practices, I shimmer!

Its a very thick moisturizing lotion and that's a good thing! It is NOT as sparkly/shimmery as you would think it is. I was thinking it would be shimmery like when they have the Housewives reunion and everybody is just glowing nicely!

Updated: oil is a good consistency/ texture. Does not feel greasy at all. Also, the customer service was great! An attempt was made to send me a new bottle with more shimmer, but I just think this product is for someone who wants subtle glow/ shimmer. Overall, the actual oils used are great for your skin. I think I should have tried the shimmer body butter to get more of a bronze glow w/ shimmer, because I ended up buying loose pigment to get the desired shimmer I wanted.

Bottle showed up half empty. Far to expensive to be acceptable. Disappointed b/c product goes on nicely, but can’t justify paying $30 for 3oz.
