10-foot cord, decent controller
I have been using these NES mini contorllers for the past few weeks and they are decent controllers. The controllers feel solid and the cord length of just under 10 feet allows us to sit back on the couch and play some classic NES games. The controllers feel almost identical to the ones that come with NES mini classic. Overall, the A & B buttons are responsive and clicky. The start and sleck button also have good feedback. Th D-pad allows for porpper movement feels decent. When I first received the controllers there was a small issue with the D-pad registering the incorrect input. Sometimes I would mash right, but it would register up. However, as I continued using the controllers this problem has become minimal and now I can't tell if I accidentally pressed up with my meaty hands. Therefore, the controller may have a small break in period, because the problem with the D-pad has almost become a thing of the past and the buttons don't feel as stiff as when I first started using themOverall, this decent 2-pack of controllers allow the user to sit 10 feet way comfortably, compared to the cord of the originals. The controller with a classic NES look feels just as good as the originals with similar response time and a solid build.

The longer cables are perfect
We have the recently released console direct from Nintendo. The controllers originally provided are too close to the originals from the 90's, as you had to sit way too close to play. These actually look more like the originals, feel exact and have much longer cords. We have put a few hours into using these and are very happy.

Works for player 2...
So here's the deal. I have a lot of controllers. About 200 or so. I collect them. First party, third party, blasters, whatever. These are low grade third party controllers.I grabbed this NES Mini controller for my NES Classic Edition, but honestly, I can't say that I like it. The buttons are way too clicky for my taste, and it doesn’t compare to the feel of the original NES controllers or even the OEM ones for the Switch. It works, sure, but it lacks that classic, smooth button press that I love from the old-school versions. If you're nostalgic about the original feel, this one might let you down. If you have a 7 year old who wants to play classics, this could work fine. Note that the connector is the same as used on a Wii or Wii U (NES games may be available through old eshop purposes or via some websites) and this is by far the better way to play than on NES Mini. They feature great save states, rewind, and more, and look fantastic, as well as being able to play Wii, gamecube, and other games. I recommend looking for a used Wii and getting one with a Wii classic gamepad, it feels different but better, and you'll have access to more games and a better overall quality than this.

Did not work with an NES Classic Edition
Both controllers were tested with a new NES Classic Edition console. Neither controller was functional.

Works well with my NES Classic
I have a wireless controller but the the signal seems to drop randomly so I figured I would try a long corded option. These feel really nice, close to original. The buttons and dpad all seem the correct level of responsiveness and touch sensitivity. All levels of Super Mario played well and I never felt there was any input misses or lag.Overall nice controllers that will suit me well.

Works with SNES Mini
I can confirm that these controllers can be plugged into an SNES mini for scenarios where your SNES mini has been loaded with NES games. The controllers feel fine. The dpad may be a little stiff, but I could see that easing up over time.

NES Mini Controller for NES Classic Edition and Nintendo Classic Mini Consoles
This is a pair of controllers that work with the NES Classic and Classic Mini consoles. When the NES Mini was initially released, the controller it came with had an absurdly short cord, so you had to sit right next to the TV to play the games. These controllers have ten-foot cords, making playing games on the NES Mini much easier and more comfortable. You also get a second controller so a second player can play two-player games on the console. They are definitely worth picking up if you have either console.

They look and feel good, but they have a bad connection!
I have always wanted a classic-style controller to play classic NES games and thought that I had found the solution. These controllers should be compatible with the NES Classic, Nintendo Switch (Using an 8BitDo adapter), Wii U and Wii. The problem is that if they are detected, their connection is so bad that the console reads error inputs and goes crazy. It may be just the two controllers that I received, but I cannot imagine it being a coincidence that both malfunctioned.
