ToolTronix 900W Electric Angle Grinder 125mm 5" Heavy Duty Cutting Grinding 240V UK

I have owned this for 10 months now and it looked a terrific buy just out of the box.The one fault I noticed was that the spindle lock button appeared very hard to hold down whilst attaching a new disk ie it would keep unlocking itself despite my best efforts. So I could never be certain I had the disk tightened sufficiently. It would just keep slipping under my thumb.I decided I would try and live with it to begin with but it seems that the problem got worse over time or perhaps I just notice it more.If I do get a disk on good and tight then it is impossible to get it off again. After spending a whole afternoon trying to get a tight disk off - following a near accident in the morning with a disk insufficiently tightened - I have decided this tool is more trouble than it is worth. Fit only for the bin.Otherwise it looked a robust little tool. But, as it is, there is a real safety issue here.

I bought this as needed an angle grinder for little bits of DIY that I do from time to time and reading the reviews thought this would be perfect. Out of the box it’s pretty straightforward to set up and use and worked ok UNTIL I needed to change the disc. Wow I have never swore so much in my life for what should be an easy job I literally had no hair left. Even after checking YouTube videos to ensure I wasn’t doing something stupid it was impossible to hold the little button down and slacken the adjuster to allow me to change discs. Have now condemned to the bin.If you only need to use an angle grinder once then this will be perfect for you otherwise buy something you can use again.

replaced old grinder which was twice as expensive only thing stopping it having 5 stars no key to remove discs , old key don't fit

Five stars for everything except, burnt out on first use only scoring paving slabs. Shame and very annoying!

I sent mine back, one, vibration under use was too much for me, and someone else used it to test who said the same.These things happen, and pretty sure if I had a replacement it would have been fine.The switch for me is what did it.I am used to a switch on a d it stays on kind of switch, and this is one you need to hold.If the work price was I. A vice at a nice hwigh I am sure this would have been fine.Sadly that and the vibrations meanti wasn't able to use it, so I had a refund.

Ok grinder, the guard snapped after a few uses, but the supplier sent a replacement so all's good. Very powerful and fast spinning, perfect for flappy disks.

Pleased with the power and the lightness of the grinder it certainly ticks all the boxes for me. I needed a grinder with these qualities as I suffer with arthritis in both my hands. I can recommend this excellent bit of kit to anyone with an eye for good value for money and ease of use.

Very powerful and pleased with first use on rusted bolts. Next used several months later to cut through cement and after a few minutes the switch was jammed on. It comes on immediately it's plugged-in. Two weeks out of warranty so neither Amazon or supplier interested.
