Convenient
If you are a power juice drinker, or even a supplement afficionado, this personal blender is for you. It was packaged very nicely, and the directions to use, are simple. The base is water resistant to a point. It says not to submerge it for extended times. I'm not submerging it at all. Hand washing is the way to go. Getting a little water on it doesn't damage it at all. Simply wash the base and turn it upside down to air dry.The tritan bottle doesn't scratch as easily as the shaker bottles. The capacity is 700ml or for imperial folks, about 22oz. Just remember not to fill it all the way up so that the blades can blend what you put in. I've blended sherbet and fruit; almond milk and supplements, and yogurt and fruit. I'm really loving this blender. I haven't eaten this healthy is a while. The wrapped handle on the bottle, can I say that you can carry the bottle almost anywhere. Don't forget to take the blades off and put the drinking bottom on. The big mouth top allows for drinking or you can drop in a straw. (It comes with s silicone straw and cleaning brush.)The 4-stars is because I have to use the booklet almost constantly because I can't remember the flashing light codes. For those of us who are a bit challenged, red is stop/unsafe, green is for go. And yes, when you are putting it together the base will flash green to let you know you have adequate charge and that the base is sealed. The red means, charge that thing and the seal is not set.All in all; its a pretty good gadget. I like it and it travels with me now. OH!, don't put whole ice cubes in it. If you want to add ice, make sure its chips, otherwise it will jam. Whoever came up with this is really thinking about the wash and go generation. This bottle blender is really good.

Love This!!
Great portable option that allows me to take my smoothies on the road. Obviously this thing will not replace a full size blender for large drinks that are heavy in ice, but it is great for small fruits, yogurts and protein powders. Highly recommend!

Finicky power button, but neat blend cycle
I like that it's USB C chargeable, holds about 20 oz which is a perfect size smoothy for me, is easy to clean, and that you simply flip it over, and swap the blender base with a screw on cup base. It's pretty easy to use, and very convenient compared to a full size blender because swapping the blend base for cup base means you only have to wash the blender base under the faucet so it's quick. I found that holding your finger over the USB port while cleaning is the best way to be sure water and soap don't get into the USB port to corrode the electrical contacts, but I wish in came with a captive rubber USB port cover. The straw is flexible silicone, and is wide enough for a frozen smoothy. There is an included bottle brush for the straw, and a economy quality foam brush for cleaning the all plastic portable cup parts, but I won't be using it, as I use a bristled cup washing brush instead. My sample has an annoying quirk, where I have to tighten, then loosen the blender base to get it to start blending. Whatever sensor is used to sense blender base on position does not work often, even when the arrows are aligned perfectly between the clear cup and the base. Once I see the lights got red, then green, then and only then will my blender operate. If I wait too long between jostling the blender base, and starting a blend cycle, it won't start until I loosen/tighten again. All said, I am giving this personal blender a 3 star review a it's priced at the higher end for these type blenders, and the finicky operation with the blender base alignment. I would really have liked to see an included captive silicon USB port cover too.

Tempermental!
The media could not be loaded. This blender is a bit weird, a bit finicky, and so you need to spend a little time when you first get it, to figure out everything, all the nuances, what it likes, what it doesn't like, when to press the button, when to take a break, just like your first real romantic relationship. And yes, I mean all that. So, after opening it up, I charged it, and in like a minute or two, the light turned from red to green, so I thought it was fully charged. So then I proceeded to test it out, but it wouldn't do anything. At first, I thought maybe something wasn't properly in place, wasn't properly locked, or perhaps I was missing a part. After making sure everything was the way it was supposed to be, I found out it won't turn on if you have it plugged in. Therefore, it only works using its internal battery, which is a bit weird, because if you're at home, you'd like to use it plugged in for the most power. But it doesn't think that way, so ok fine. My first trial, I decided on something simple, just a frozen berry ice cream shake, with some more fruit puree, condensed milk, and vanilla ice cream. I didn't put in anything really solid like hard vegetables or fruits, or even ice cubes, and the frozen shake was more of a hard ice cream form, and not hard ice form. But it had a hard time just blending that. Each time you turn it on, it's supposed to run for a full 30 seconds. However, mine would stop after about ten seconds. I switched to the other button - there are two, one to blend clockwise, one to blend counter clockwise - but it still got stuck after a few seconds. To make matters worse, if the blender senses it's getting too hot, it will auto stop. I found all this out through trial and error and just being perceptive to what's going on. Finally, I was able to figure it out and "unclog" it by shifting the content around. Next, I decided to throw in about 20 mini ice cubes, and it grinded those down fine. Lastly, I threw in several regular-sized ice cubes, and although I couldn't really hear that it grinded all those out, upon opening up the blender, I found out that it grinded them down just fine.Phew. So, through all that, it wasn't a matter of lack of power, but maybe an overactive sensor trying to stomp down on the motor, and a oversensitive motor that heats up too quickly. I will try it out a few more times and update you on how it all settles down. For now, it deserves a four-star rating.
