Great lighter old school great reliability

I love the brushed brass metal and the lighter works very well. Ideal for camping and feels like it'll last a lifetime. I like how the sides are polished and the face is brushed, it's a lovely design. Easy to refill like all Zippos. It has a few tiny scratches now but it really does not impact the overall look. The lighter has needed refilling a few times so it does seem to be quite thirsty for lighter fluid, but I don't mind.

Iconic and durable. Elegant in its way. I plan to let it age naturally rather than obsessing over finger marks and nightly polishing. Properly looked after, these just keep going and going. Very tactile and pleasing proportions. Based on the ‘golden ratio,’ isn’t it? Certainly fun to play about with. Famous ‘clink’ of lid is spot on. I don’t smoke. Just collect on rare occasion. Zippos have a renowned warranty. Some people worry about about fluid evaporation. There are things to slow that; have a look around online. Or, try this as it helps a bit:- Made a cardboard and duct tape slipcase for it. Bit of trial and error to get a good snug fit, but worth the modest effort as the homemade slipcase will give reasonable protection from scratch and dent damage and seems to noticeably prolong times between refills. Only takes a few minutes, and it certainly is economical. These are wind proof. Be careful about dropping it when lit, as it will stay lit until you click the lid shut. Use proper Zippo fuel for it as it burns cleanly without any bad odour. Very good service and delivery!

Bought this zippo and it came within the week, so fairly efficient delivery, no problems with the actual mechanics of it, perfect lighter. Only problem I would say would be the fact that it runs out of gas very quickly, and when you get one, everyone wants a good at flicking it, so it needs refilling quite a lot, and obviously you can't tell how close it is to being empty. So if you find having a lighter is a necessity, I'd always keep a spare one with me, just in case this one runs out of fuel, though fortunately it is quite cheap to buy, I picked up a fuel bottle, wicks and flits for about £3 off amazon. Looks great, doesn't say "zippo" on it other than on the bottom, but has got "solid brass" written across it near the top. However, it gets scratches quite easily as well as starts to lose its shine, so if you want it looking perfect, I'd recommend buying some polish at the same time.

I ordered a tumbled brass armor zippo and got exactly what I ordered. This lighter works perfectly and is very durable. The tumbled brass is a beautiful finish for a zippo lighter. I also love the brass insert. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Theses lighters will last a lifetime and if they don't you can get them fixed for free. You wont find a better lighter anywhere. I will be ordering it again soon as gifts for friends and family. I am very pleased this is the nicest lighter I have ever seen !
