Great Multimeter
The multimeter its self is a great compact design, that you can put in your pocket. The black and red probes are not bad and seem to sit nice and snug in the terminal sockets, the probes seem to be a standard type fitting so you should be able to use your existing probes. The meter as a nice built in clear LCD display with backlit so you can even use the meter in the dark. You get two AAA Batteries that are included with the multimeter to get it up and running. It has small LED torch built into the end of the unit which is great extra for when it is difficult to see in those unlit areas. As multimeters go, it’s pretty compact in size and is a decent starter unit which doesn’t require function setting before you begin probing as the unit is on the auto detecting setting. This is great as you do not have to expose any cables, plus it helps you trace any live cable in the walls.Features:✅ RMS measuring AC/DC voltage✅ 4000 counts✅ Built-in backlit✅ Compact✅ Sturdy✅ Easy to usePlease Note: As a member of the Amazon Vine program, I was supplied with this item free of charge. Does the job required.
There are a lot of these automatic multimeters around now in many shapes and sizes but with the same features and functions, I guess somewhere a specialised chip to easily make them is being mass produced. This is a very compact version, its simplistic, AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity and a non contact function. Its been pared back to the minimum so really aimed at absolute amateurs, the beauty of these auto mode meters is they are hard to damage by incorrect operation or setting. To me, its gone a bit too far, some of these meters at least have the function to manually override the measurement mode if needed and lock in a range, this doesn't.I will say its pretty fast to choose a mode and auto range to the correct reading. I did find if doing constant continuity checks where you need a fast response, you could short the probes together initially and use the Hold feature to lock the range for a while. The meter feels surprisingly strong despite being featherweight, really because there needs to be very little inside such a device these days. The probes and leads are reasonable quality. The display is super large but has quite low contrast as the background is quite dark too, fortunately the backlight is strong and fixes that. There is a torch that may or may not be useful, but its there.Initial test of the readings suggest adequate accuracy on voltage and resistance. The non contact function is actually quite sensitive and easily indicated the presence of live wiring under the plasterboard above a light switch, but not really with enough precision to chase the cable for example, but OK to warn you its there. This will be handy around the house for a quick check of chargers, fuses, batteries etc.For its design aim its a quite pleasing little tool.Loses just 1 star on value as its currently 16 quid, which to many won't seem much, but I have had slightly better versions of such meters for a little less.

Easy to use great for DIY tool kit
This compact multimeter is a fantastic choice for beginners! I'm not an engineer by any means, and my electronics knowledge comes mostly from YouTube. I previously used a manual multimeter for checking batteries and continuity, but I always found switching between modes a bit of a hassle. This one takes care of that automatically! So, if you're like me and need something user-friendly for around the house rather than a professional tool, this is perfect. It's well-made with durable ABS plastic and flexible cables, plus it comes with batteries included. I especially appreciate the automatic wire finder. While it might not pinpoint the exact location of a wire within a wall, it definitely confirms its presence. For the price, this multimeter is a great addition to any home toolkit, especially with its fully automatic functionality.

Minimal manual input
Minimal manual input which may or may not be a plus for you. I use it for the non-contact voltage detection to ensure there's no current on AC circuits before work. Quite happy with it for the price, but more serious users may want a meter with a bit more control.

Not for serious use
The Aicevoos DVM is not ideal as a general purpose tool because the accuracy below 50 ohms seems very random and the device beeps when it goes into continuity mode; which you can't turn off. There is also a slight delay before the beep starts which I find annoying when quickly checking lots of connections.Reading the displayed units can be tricky without the backlight because the font is too small. The LED torch is a nice feature.I like the size of the DVM as it fits nicely in one hand and a pocket. The probes and leads are okay but they are not particularly flexible.I don't like the costcutting ruse of supplying cheap, non-alkaline batteries. I never install these cheap batteries in a device that only gets infrequent use because they always seem to leak and ruin the battery compartment or, occasionally, the entire circuit board. The non-contact sensor seems to work reasonably well in some instances but, of course, should never be used as the only way to confirm that a circuit is dead. It's a handy bit of kit for the householder but could be a lot better with a few tweaks. I would not recommend this for any kind of serious use.

A good product for the toolbox
I've had several of these multi meters and when I saw that this one didn't have the dial but was automatic, I wanted to give it a try. I don't use the meters that often and some of them have three sockets for the leads. That always is confusing to me and this one takes away that confusion.I like the way the plug ends on the leads are totally covered in plastic and there are only two places to plug them in, so I can keep them plugged in all the time. I used them to test the voltage on a few 3 volt button batteries that couldn't be tested with my battery tester because it thinks everything should be 1 or 1.5 volts. It worked fine on the batteries and then I tested it with a 110 v outlet. I put the leads in one way and then the other and it worked fine each time. I also used the NCV option and it was a little goofy. You have to hold down the button and then put it near the source. It beeped but didn't list the voltage, which is fine if you are just looking to see if there is active power. All in all, it's a nice addition to the toolbox. The small light in the front is helpful and the only thing I wish it had was a way to hold the leads so I could just plug it in without having to insert the leads separately. That's a minor issue and I knew it didn't have that feature so it definitely does what it was described as doing.

Multimetro para todos los públicos
The media could not be loaded.
