The Secret Weapon for Glowing Skin!
I decided to give these collagen tablets a go after noticing my skin looking a bit tired (not surprising with a baby that wakes up at 5 AM sharp!). I've heard a lot about collagen supplements, and these ones, enhanced with Aloe Vera, seemed like a solid choice. I’ve been taking them for a few weeks now, and honestly, I’m impressed! I wasn’t expecting overnight results, but I’m starting to see a bit more brightness and bounce in my skin. It feels a tad more hydrated, which is a miracle in itself given the current lack of sleep and constant exposure to the elements on the school run. The tablets themselves are easy to swallow – no horse-sized pills here, thankfully. They don’t have any weird aftertaste, which is great because I’ve tried other supplements before that taste like the inside of a boot. I also like that they’re packed with hydrolyzed marine collagen, which supposedly makes it easier for the body to absorb – and who doesn’t want a bit of extra help with that? The Aloe Vera is a nice addition, too, known for its soothing properties, and I think it’s helped keep my skin calm, especially during those hormonal flare-ups. It feels like a bit of self-care that I can actually manage to fit into my daily routine, which is no small feat! Pros: Noticeable improvement in skin hydration and texture. Easy-to-swallow tablets with no unpleasant taste. Added Aloe Vera for soothing skin benefits. Convenient addition to a daily routine. Cons: Need to remember to take them consistently for best results. Would be nice if there were a larger quantity per bottle. If you're looking for a little beauty boost from within, these tablets are worth a try. They've certainly earned a permanent spot in my morning routine!

Undecided.
I will have to update this over time, The ingredients supposed to help with skin, bone, muscle, health. It doesn't boost sexual appeal, it may enhance whaat you already got, that maybe a side effect for someone who looks good already and is taking this and has better skin, less wrinkles just enhances it further, and taking this to help with skin glow, and muscle/bone health. I take collagen 10g and Biotin for this effect. The ingredients are too low dosed for me, and there isn't enough to take for 6 months, at 30 quid I would expect something low dosed to last 6 months to 1 year, in this time taking it for a few months then having a month break to give the body rest, then take it again may show signs of benefits. I have done collagen in 10g per day for 5 months, I have done the other ingredients in high doses on their own, they can help and have shown signs before, but i took them for upto 5 months to see a difference. I cannot say this will give benefits in just 30 days, but I'll say that I like the ingredients mainly the use of a natural anti-caking agent called Nu Mag which is a natural alternative to synthetic ingredients like magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide etc.. and I prefer this Nu mag over the synthetic ones, so good one on that. Also just so you know it's not vegan, and the capsules are blue in colour, it was pleasant and easy to take, I may have to update this if it works, want to note, I have done research on the ingredients, and they do show signs of it working based on science backed studies. What would make this product better is higher doses of each ingredient, especially collagen, and I would increase the capsules to be adequate maybe 3 months supply seems to be fair at 30 quid. Dosage is 2 per day [once only] 30 minutes before a meal. There are 60 capsules in the re-sealable sachet, 2 per day makes that 30 days supply.

Great ingredients tablets
This pack of 60 collagen tablets supplement with aloe verva promise very good I must admit, the tablets are very easy to swallow, they enhances skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles, but also enhancing your sexual glow. They already started working after only few doses so I can easily recommend them to anyone for this really reasonable price and great quality.

Not cheap, but seems to be a good product
I have been taking collagen tablets for most of 2024 as I have been on a drive to improve my skin. What drew me to these was that it uses marine collagen and it's also got aloe vera added, which also has skin benefits. I'd love to say that collagen, in general, has caused noticeable improvements in my skin, but it's very hard to say as these things are so gradual. I found these tablets easy enough to swallow and didn't detect any kind of aftertaste. I had no digestive issues of any kind using them, so that's good. It's nice that there's the extra benefit of aloe vera, as anything that can help the skin is appreciated. The recommended dosage is 2 tablets per day, and there are 60 tablets in the package, so that means this is a month's supply. So at the current price, that's working out at roughly £1 per day, which I feel is quite expensive, but if it achieves the desired results as far as boosting skin health is concerned, then it would be worth every penny.

First Try of Marine Collagen
I have been taking these Friend of Dorothy, Handsome, Marine Collagen Tablets for a fortnight now, yet my wife, Dorothy, has not noticed my boosted sexual appeal; neither has my mistress, probably due to my not having one (otherwise I would risk no longer being a friend of Dorothy, handsome or otherwise)! Kidding apart, I have yet to notice clear signs of positive or negative effect from taking this collagen supplement. I do eat a varied & healthy diet, with plenty of veg & fruit from my garden & allotment – currently, loads of raspberries, pears, grapes, beans, courgettes, carrots & cabbage … even a few re-emerging strawberries, with lots of other things yet to harvest or stored for winter in our freezers. I also take lots of exercise – for example, well over 300 miles on my bike in September, in between the many bouts of wet weather. Nevertheless, my skin is not as taught as it used to be, but I suppose that is not surprising at 78. Do I need a collagen supplement? As a leading supermarket says: every little helps! At the £29.99 price for 30 days supply of the Friend of Dorothy Marine Collagen Tablets, though, I doubt that I will be buying more to replace the current dwindling supply when they run out. I think it unlikely that taking these marine collagen capsules will stop me aging, any more than did my cycling 700 miles at age 70 in 7 days, though both have probably enhanced my fitness to some degree. Fortunately, I am not significantly wrinkly yet.

Good
Good value pack. Hard to say if they are effective. Easy to swallow and does not leave any after taste. Have caused no adverse effects on my over all health.

High on price and low on quantity
The capsules are easy to swallow and leave little after taste. However that is more than be said about the price and formulation. You get very little for your money with tiny amounts of the active ingredients and in a very poor ratio. It says it is suitable vegetarians but also that it contains fish. Marketed towards gay men and claims to boost sexual appeal! I think the brand must think their target audience is gullible. At best the listed ingredients "might" maintain skin elasticity, but at these tiny doses even that is unlikely. Don't waste your money.

🧴 A Subtle Start with Marine Collagen – Might Need a Higher Dose for Big Results!
This is my second product from *Friend of Dorothy*, and I decided to try these marine collagen tablets after my previous batch of bovine collagen powder was running low. I thought it would be interesting to switch things up and give this brand a shot. 💊 First Impressions The first thing that caught my attention was the striking blue colour of the capsules. Each one matches the packaging perfectly, making it hard to confuse them with any other supplements (unless those are blue too!). I take one tablet every morning with a small amount of water. Even though the recommended dose is two capsules per day, I’ve opted to take just one, hoping to stretch the supply over two months rather than one. 🕒 Two Weeks In: Any Notable Effects? I’ve been taking these tablets for nearly two weeks, and I held off on writing this review to give it some time before forming an opinion. So far, I haven’t noticed any major changes (as specified on the product page) in areas like sexual appeal, skin elasticity, or youthful energy, but that could be because I’m only taking half the suggested dose. 📏 Collagen Content & Dosage One thing that stood out to me is the amount of collagen per serving. If you follow the recommended dose of two capsules, you get 300 of marine collagen. There’s no further breakdown provided on the packaging, but I assume 300 refers to milligrams (mg). For comparison, studies generally recommend daily collagen intake between 2,500 and 15,000 mg, depending on what you're aiming for—whether it's improving skin elasticity or supporting joint health. Considering this, 300 mg seems like a pretty low dose. 📚 Should You Go for a Higher Dose? While 300 mg might offer some benefits, especially if your diet is balanced, it’s likely not enough to bring about noticeable changes in areas like skin hydration or joint support. If you're looking for more dramatic results, you might want to consider a supplement with a higher collagen content. A quick search on Amazon will show you plenty of other options with varying amounts of collagen per serving and their associated prices. 💡Final Thoughts Though I haven’t seen any significant results yet, I’m going to finish the course and see if a longer usage period changes things. However, I do think a higher-dose collagen supplement might offer faster, more noticeable benefits if that’s your main goal.

Still testing
I think it’s working so I don’t want to give a negative review. Label said it may take 30 days and I’m still under that.
