A great wet weather raincoat
I needed a raincoat light enough to carry in a 10 litre backpack that would fit properly and cover me down to my mid-calf and have a hood there had to be a coat like that somewhere? I didn't need to look far I ordered it and it arrived two days later by post, I eagerly tried it on. and it fitted just how it was meant too, I was a happy bunny and could not wait for it to rain, 5 days later it rained whoopee, I put the raincoat on and felt very smug as I was not only dry but warm and snug, I got home dried the coat with a towel and refolded it and put it back in my backpack. A great wet weather raincoat, yes I would buy again

Very happy with this purchase. 5 Star for a well-rounded product
Honestly, I should have paid more attention and noticed that the trousers are not included. regardless the Rain Coat is doing the job that it was made for, keeping you dry and nice, there are 2 small vent holes that help not by allot but just enough to not get very hot inside, pockets are a very welcome bonus, so far no water has passed thru any stitches. The sleeves are long enough to keep my hands forward on the cycle and still able to protect against's rain & wind combined. The Quality of the fabric is quite good, the coat is also not so bulky compared to others I had in the past, and it is fairy light for its size. small enough to throw it in the backpack, I got just enough clearance to keep the backpack inside while still being protected from the back wheel while Ciclying to work. all in all 5 Starts for a well-rounded product for a BARGAIN price

Pretty useful as a coat, and for keeping rain off. Also has other uses.
Bought one for Glastonbury. Worked well, kept me dry, and more importantly, it was long enough to just cover up my wellies, so I was entirely safe from the rain and people splashing in the mud whilst walking. It seems to be pretty good quality and hopefully it'll keep me dry for a few festivals more.Top tip; wear a bag under the front of the raincoat for that rotund effect. People kept letting me go to the front of the queue, thinking I was heavily pregnant. The fact that I am a tall bloke didn't even register to them but I wasn't about to complain. A+ 10/10 would impersonate a masculine looking pregnant lady again.

*** JUST NOT WATERPROOF! ***
Having tried medium, which was tiny, I had to give it to my wife and buy another in XL. Admittedly I wanted to wear it over my normal coat (which soaks up rain), but I am slim and usually wear medium or occasionally large. Btw, if it helps anyone, I am 5'11" and a little over 11 stone, so slim as I said. The length is good, dropping a bit below my knees, but you would still need waterproof trousers on a properly wet day, especially if it's windy too. And, as others have said, the coat doesn't fasten low enough to keep the ends from flapping open in the wind and letting the rain in. The coat also seems to cling too much to your legs as you walk, which is irritating and actually slows me up as I can't take my normal fairly long strides.HOWEVER..... the biggest and most fundamental flaw for me is....*drumroll*........ IT'S NOT WATERPROOF!!!! I came home in the rain today, on my FIRST wearing of this coat, took it off and found to my horror that my normal coat underneath had huge wet areas, especially on both sleeves and across the back, but really all over! Now I'm afraid that's just useless for a raincoat. I really don't want the hassle of trying to return it, seeing as I have (quite reasonably!) cut off the tag and worn it, having first checked that it fitted. So I guess it's more money down the drain, along with the rain.BUYERS BEWARE AND STEER CLEAR!

Good coat
Bought the XXL and the size is not as advertised. The coat is made by Baum County and it states on the pack that XXL is 49" - 52" chest. It is also advertised as machine washable, but it is not. Can only be wiped down with a damp cloth. The coat itself is very good quality, has a zip fastening, with a storm flap with poppers which covers the zip. The zip is in the top 2/3rds of the coat, leaving the bottom 3rd loose, which allows for walking!Weight of coat is 900g (2lb) so it is fairly sturdy, and gives excellent rain-proofing. Any lighter and it probably won't be as weatherproof. It's a really good coat, but advertising is wrong.

Reasonable raincoat but beware if you're a tall person!
Not bad for the money, but as a 6ft man I should've bought the longest size available, even though XXL would be far too baggy. I bought XL and it drops to just below my knees, which means my lower legs still get soaked in heavy rain. There's a reason the model in the photos is wearing leg protectors as well! Also, there are no buttons on the lower 1/4 of the coat, meaning it flaps open in the wind, which isn't very useful. It looks fine, has decent pockets, the hood stays up, it's light, and the cuffs are elasticated which helps stop water running in. But I wouldn't buy it again.

The hood was a good size, especially goes well with a baseball cap ...
This is the business in design. I thought the guy in the photo might be short, but I am 5' 10" and its length is below the middle of my shin, so its long. The mesh inside is only a small area, but by it are two air vents, important in something this waterproof but not breathable. The hood was a good size, especially goes well with a baseball cap on under it. I liked it. Can sit down with knees covered. It looks very water proof. Nice pockets for slipping hands into.

Nice coat but short sleeves
I actually like this jacket, it's light, totally waterproof and pretty much lives in my car now and gets used often.But...it's strangely short in the sleeves, I'm only a 5'10" woman, I ordered a couple of sizes too big so I could get extra length and also wear it over my winter jacket in a downpour and the sleeves are still about 3" too short and I'm constantly having to tug them down.Another thing that might be an issue for some is the length, I wear tall wellies so it's not a problem for me but if you wear standard length muck boots or hunters and you're around my height the coat is just the right length to funnel the rain water straight into your wellies. For the price though it does the job so overall I can live with the short arms for now but next time I'll be buying a different brand.
