Sensitive and delicate. Very heart touching book, about a very acute situation whose length is as long as a whole life.

This book's visual storytelling makes a stellar addition to scholarly works on intermarriage. The images are suggestive, leaving plenty of room for the complexity of inter-unions, loving partnerships, and families. The accompanying text adds context without distracting from the beautiful photographs themselves. Yael Ben-Zion ably demonstrates that qualitative approaches are essential to understanding intermarriage in America. A great coffee table book and gift!
