I read in Reddit that urea should help KP in arms and buttocks and legs however it's been 2 weeks, I haven't seen or felt improvement. Still, I like how neutral it smells and it does feel like it's working just not as fast as I hoped. The pump action is great tho. Also, there is a bit of icky feels after freshly applying the lotion, so it takes quite a while to absorb fully (if it does at all) but I don't mind it that much. It's hydrating enough for me. Also received it earlier than the expected date but it didn't reflect accordingly in the app until days after. The consistency is also good, doesn't drip or run, but it glides easily across the skin. Update: 2 months later I've come to dislike the sticky feeling on my hands after application. It's so obvious there's a film there that I can't get rid of no matter where else I rub it off I also realized that I don't have before photos, but my arm KP has not improved much. Somehow the bumps were reduced but the discoloration is still very much dominant.

Exactly what I needed. Not scented, no weird smell, liquid enough and spreads nicely and easily. Not too thick, not sticky but also not slippery in a bad way. Does leave a film on the skin BUT you only feel it when you wash it off. I don’t feel it on the skin after application which is super nice. Very good moisturiser. No complaints.

I recently tried the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Urea 10% Roughness Smoothing Lotion, and I can’t speak highly enough of it! This body lotion has truly transformed my experience with dry, rough skin. From the first application, I was impressed by its creamy yet lightweight texture. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly, providing an immediate sense of hydration without leaving any greasy residue. This is a huge plus for me, as I hate feeling like I have product sitting on my skin. The standout ingredient in this formulation is definitely the 10% urea. Urea is known for its exceptional hydrating properties, and I noticed a significant difference in the smoothness of my skin after just a few days of use. It effectively helps to exfoliate the rough patches, making my skin feel softer and look more even. In addition to urea, the inclusion of shea butter and allantoin makes this lotion even more appealing. Shea butter is incredibly nourishing, providing deep moisture and helping to maintain my skin's natural barrier. Allantoin adds a soothing touch, making this lotion perfect for sensitive skin. I have experienced no irritation at all, just relief from the tightness and dryness that usually plagues my skin. What I particularly appreciate is how versatile this lotion is. It’s great for targeted areas, like elbows and knees, but it also works wonderfully as an all-over body moisturizer. I’ve been using it after showering and have noticed that my skin feels hydrated all day long, even in the dryer months. The packaging is user-friendly as well; the pump dispenser allows for easy application without waste. Plus, it’s fragrance-free, which is an added bonus for those of us who prefer to avoid scents in our skincare products. Overall, I highly recommend the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Urea 10% Roughness Smoothing Lotion to anyone struggling with dry or rough skin. It’s effective, gentle, and deeply moisturizing, making it a fantastic addition to any skincare routine. If you want to experience smoother, softer skin, this lotion is definitely worth trying!
