Great first impression, but battery capacity is overrated, and wrench power is questionable
I would say, upon receiving this product, the "first impression" of this product is great - the packaging is nice and "gift-able", the tool box is sturdy, the impact wrench build quality appears to be sturdy as well, and it comes with 2 batteries and a charger, it really looks like it is a great gift or beginner impact wrench set. However, upon real-life testing/usage, it disappoints me here and there. In short, the battery is overrated - False advertising - it is 4Ah(actual) max instead of 5Ah(claimed). The impact wrench even unable to turn a scissor jack and the "ratchet" inside the wrench kicks in.For the battery, I use a simple capacity testing tool to continuously discharge it, upon reaching the lowest safe voltage of 15V, the discharge process stops and the capacity is recorded, it is measured at about 3.4Ah only. The number shocks me, because everything "looks" nice. So, I disassemble the battery and I found the battery pack is using 10 cells of 18650 2000mAh, in a 5S2P configuration, the "configured capacity" is only 2x2000mAh = 4Ah. I was unable to find any evidence of 5Ah in the tested and observed capacity - a red flag of false advertisement - customer is NOT getting what they paid for. There are 2 batteries, so technically a total of 2Ah capacity is "stolen".For the impact wrench, it's nice to have 6 difference size of sockets, however, when I use it to turn the scissor jack to lift up a SUV, it is unable to do so and the "ratchet" simply kicks in and "skip" the turn, no matter I use all the 3 different speeds, it is unable to do so. While I switched back and use my 10+ years old drill, with proper socket adapter, it is able to turn the scissor jack and lift the vehicle up. I am disappointed the "power" of the impact wrench. It looks like it only has some "impact" power but not "longevity" power, potentially just to loose some already loosen lugs. The 3 different speeds or settings doesn't seems to mean anything.False advertisement on the batteries, under-power impact wrench, product appears to be an expensive toolbox with low power impact wrench and small capacity batteries.
