This cage is tight. It snuggly holds my 16 Pro Max in place and the cutout rubber plug that protects the camera bar when not in use is perfectly sized. I wish that plug came in other colors. The anodized black finish is a nice touch. I ended up getting another for my significant other’s iPhone 16 pro because she likes taking photos when she travels and wants to borrow some of my lenses on the next trip. I did it difficult to own a smartphone with such a great camera and not accessorize it with the best possible gear. My biggest gripe with this cage would be the lack of abundant options for the claw clasp to hold accessories on seeing as that had been the most difficult thing to find many choices on. The frame isn’t too much heavier than any other cage I’ve used but it is more comfortable to cold in comparison to the Smallrig cage I had for my 12 Max Pro. On that one the outer edges were sharply angled to make for an uncomfortable hold over long periods unless you had a handle installed. The difference here, and I thank the designers, is that the frame edges are rounded off so it is a more natural hold and can allow you to use the frame as just a case when not shooting video or photos. The price isn’t terrible as I’ve seen cases that do less for the phone and charge far more. The case also comes with three inserts for the camera array. A 67mm threaded lens adapter, a 17mm threaded adapter, and the T-mount/M-mount adapter (it is suggested to use T-mount lenses on this phone) While I am disappointed there are only two cold shoe mounts on this larger sized cage, there are 4 grooves to mount a specialized claw mount connector to the frame on all four sides that certain handle mounts connect to. There is also a big enough space that is free over the MagSafe area to attach other accessories without minimal issue. This frame is extremely solid and well put together when compared to the Smallrig frame for my 12 Pro Max as the way that was screwed together the screws would vibrate loose because of loose fitting around the phone and bad design choices. This is far more solid without rattling when I shake it meaning the parts are all snugly fitted, even the camera array plates. It also has a small lever that locks the top of the case to keep the phone in so there are few chances that will accidentally open. With how well this case is made, it is quieter than my other was due to the soft feel of the rounded corners, all the screws are tight, the overlap of the silicone liner that keeps the phone firmly in the frame. I love that I don’t hear rattling. There is also a lanyard connector so you can attach the phone to a wrist strap or a lanyard around your neck. The ease of use has to do with the solid build and tool free attachments of the camera lens templates. The attach solidly and have a silicone “shoe” on them and a ballbearing to keep the plate from wiggling. I would advise you to lay the phone on a flat surface when applying the lens plate as it requires some practice to know how hard to press to seat the tabs in place. Attempt to put one side “downward” then the other. You’ll see what I mean. The buttons all remain prominent and functional with the design for normal use. I even have a glass screen shield on as well as a camera shield and it all fits together well Using these cages for my family’s iPhone 16 pro and my iPhone 16 Pro Max is a good choice for making home videos and vacation photos look great. Lens attachments for the T-mount lenses, 17mm and 67mm lenses allows for better quality videos with the quality your phone was designed for. You can mount lights to it and or an external mic with the two cold shoe mounts and 10 1/4” screw mounts. Amazing case. Something to consider with these cases is width. Some of the automatic grabbing phone mounts for your vehicle do not open wide enough to grab the iPhone 16 Pro Max while it is in the cage but your iPhone 16 pro should just make it into some of them.

I'm giving this an over all 5 stars. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max --- It is very well made. The aluminum frame give is a very solid feel. There are also a lot of mount points with quarter/20 threaded options and a couple hot shoe options. I like that is has rubber inside the frame to provide additional protection for the phone. The cage has a safety lever that rotates and snaps into place to keep the top phone entry gate secure. I currently use the filter adapter for my ND filter and works great so far keeping the filter tightly in place. I may or may not use the lens adapter backplates in the future - we'll see. But nice t to have that option. This is very well constructed and a very good value. The only draw back is the rubber piece that covers the lower right camera quick access button. When i carry the phone in my pocket, it will pop off when I take it out. I've luckily found it each time but at some point it is going to pop off and I will actually loose it. So I don't really care for it. I don't use that button anyway for my camera. I shoot with Blackmagic Camera App for all my videos. I will probably end up seeing about wrapping some tape around it to keep i from catching and coming off unexpectedly. Some people may not like that is more bulky than a regular phone case. But it is not a regular phone case. It is specialized for a specific purpose - shooting video with the flexibility of adding on various accessories. I did go ahead an purchase the quick release handles and really like them. They take a little bit of getting used to clipping them on then twisting the lock to keep them secure. I also got the Bluetooth hot shoe remote and attached it to the hot shoe on one of the arms which both have. Just remove the hot shoe cover on the desired handle. So over all - if you are more on a budget like me and love to shoot video on your iPhone, and want to up your game - you need this! It is quick to setup and easy to use. - You're welcome!

This is a great lens mounting cage for my iPhone 16 Pro. Well designed, well-made, easy to use and works even better with the Bluetooth side handle attached.

The cage is of very high quality, but I can't connect the microphone ( dji mic 2 ) directly to the phone because the cage is in the way.

PERFECT fit for my iPhone 16 Pro (without a phone case). The ND filter holder clips securely in place and it will hold a 67mm filter by screwing it on. I have 77mm filters that I use on my Canon R6 lens, so I purchased a step up ring 67/ 77mm. You can purchase the kit which includes two handles. I can also attach a SSD drive and LED lights to the cage. The cage with a ND filter is too heavy for my DJI 7P gimbal to handle, but works fine on my DJI RS 4 mini gimbal. Smallrig mades a similar cage, but Smallrig can only use magnetic filters.

Absolutely love how versatile this case is. Able to connect anything to the back via magsafe, tripod screws on the side, cold plate attachments, and a lock to keep the phone in place. Not to mention the filter adapter is a must. Its also made from rubber and metal. Its chunky but it feels so secure.

It’s very fiddly when putting on other lenses, and it doesn’t always focus immediately. It is very easy to use, but it takes time to put it on and take it off, so unless you are planning long sessions of filming or you have a dedicated phone, it’s going to take time to set it up. Why the one star? It cracked the back of my phone. Yes, it broke the glass near the camera, and fortunately did not hurt the camera itself, but the iPhone is not fixable.

Yeah, I'm not a bot or AI. I am very particular about quality of products, and this iPhone 16 Pro Max cage is pretty awesome so far. It delivers what it says, and I like it. Its is a tighter cage than the other universal cages, with lots of places for accessories. I have tried sticking with Neewer products since they are pretty affordable and solid. I have the handles to put on this, and a light, and it works with the tripods I have. I just bought a lens that screws onto the plate provided, and it's great! Very satisfied with this.

The newer 16 Pro Max cage for my iPhone 16 Pro Max arrived incredibly fast here in Amazon KSA. The build quality is excellent- solid, well1 designed, and fits the phone perfectly. I’m excited to start using it for photography and video content, and it already feels like a great upgrade for my setup. Highly recommended for creators looking for a reliable cage.

Quality is more then expected. Very solid metal frame perfectly fir to my new Iphone 16 Pro also I bought true variable ND filter 67mm and its Handle separately . One better thing is it comes with T lenses adapter as well in future i will buy lenses and try it. For the frame and handle best quality.

I bought this because I wanted the flexibility to shift between 17mm threads and Moment's t-series lenses. I couldn't afford Beastgrip (and I'm not looking to attach a DoF adaptor or make big films), didn't like the lack of versatility of the Freewell cage and hadn't had great experiences with Smallrig. This looked good. The cage is solid. The trim is a little loose, but it just needs some care inserting and extracting the phone). I like that the mag-safe area is left clear for SSD drives or chargers; that's really useful now I shoot on Apple Log. The adaptor plates are great, and actually I leave the t-series plate attached to the back of my anamorphic lens. The filter adaptor is perhaps the most useful; I've had excellent results with a black mist filter and VND coupled together. The various threads for attachment to a standard tripod plate are helpful. I use it with a mini Neewer tripod, which also serves as a stabilising handle. Overall, if you're a hobbyist interested in upping your smartphone photography and videography, this is a really functional and solid piece of equipment. It ain't pretty, but it's so easy to switch your phone back to its regular case. Highly recommended.

Más allá del producto, pediría por favor, compartir mi desilusión por la logística usada para "supuestamente traer producto comprado a mi casa". Estando esperando todo el día, por la tarde, estando en casa, recibo mail de CORREOS EXPRESS indicando... "destinatario no contesta a las 18:11", a llamada que sí respondí, y nadie contestó al otro lado del auricular... y finalmente, tuve que ir a recoger el producto a 5 km, a una tienda-depósito de recogida de productos que REALMENTE no entrega en casa al cliente, CORREOS EXPRESS. Al no ser la 1a vez que me pasa con esta empresa, lo pongo en su conocimiento, a ver si dejan de tomar el pelo a la gente.
