That much? For a book?!?
Call me frugal, but I haven't paid this much for a book since I was in college getting ripped off for textbooks. But it's Cathy Moore, so...okay, I guess, fine. After a few months, I finally winced and clicked and bought the book. Then I read it. Worth. Every. Penny. Seriously!!! If you're on the fence about the expense, please don't be. This is not a book to be believed, this is a book to be used! So get it and USE it! When you do you'll find it gives you many orders of magnitude more in value than you spent to get it. What you'll get from it allows you to create exponentially more value for the organization(s) you serve. If you want that, then you want this book, and you shouldn't let a silly thing like sixty bucks stand in the way. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

My Training Bible
This book should be your M.O. when it comes to training. Most "training" isn't even really training and what could benefit the most is not a live session training. It has helped to validate concerns I have had for a very long time over training, and also gave me the material I needed to have conversation around this when I did not exactly know how to have those conversations. I am officially dumping my "how to make training more interactive / interesting" books and replacing with this one.

Super insightful
Map It seems to have become a standard for any ID who is working within a corporate environment. After working through the book, I can see why. This book not only helps you build upon the foundations of ID and adult learning but also really causes you to be retrospective with your approach to ID and challenges you to change any practices that may not be serving you or your learners well.

Para o preço enviarem um livro a preto e branco é ridículo
Adoro esta autora e já comecei a ler, mas reparei que o produto veio com as imagens a preto e branco. Muito pouco profissional por parte da distribuidora.

A Must-Read for Instructional Designers and eLearning Professionals
I recently finished reading "Map It: The Hands-On Guide to Strategic Training Design" by Cathy Moore, and I must say it has been an incredibly insightful and transformative experience. This book is a game-changer for anyone involved in training design, instructional design, or eLearning. Cathy Moore masterfully guides readers through her practical, results-oriented approach to designing training called Action Mapping. The method she presents enables trainers and instructional designers to focus on what truly matters: creating engaging and effective learning experiences that drive real-world performance improvement.

It is very thoughtful and thorough
The book takes you through a process with relevant examples to explain how learning design works in practice. It showed not just the steps but also the difference two approaches can make - one not following the learner-centric approach and the other following it. I felt more confident in the area of developing learning programs after reading this book. I am a regular reader and passionate learner who looks for best books for my study collection on subjects of my interest and this book is now on my list. I read it and read it again.
