Monster Hunter Wilds Standard Edition - PlayStation 5

I’ve been playing Monster Hunter Wilds on the PS5 for a while now, and it’s easily the most polished game in the series. Whether you're a newcomer or a series veteran, it's an incredible experience, though it does have a few minor quirks. What I really like about it (Pros): - PS5 Performance: Load times are practically non-existent. You can jump into a hunt with friends and literally be on the ground with your weapon drawn in seconds. - Living World: The map is seamless with dynamic weather that actually changes the environment. No more constantly loading back to a hub town between every single hunt! - Fluid Combat: The new "Focus Mode" is super satisfying for targeting monster wounds. Plus, being able to bring two weapons on a hunt and swap them on the fly is a massive quality-of-life upgrade. - Multiplayer: Full crossplay across all platforms means the player base is huge and it's always easy to find a group. Things to keep in mind (Cons): - A Bit Easy Early On: If you played World or Rise, you'll breeze through the first chunk of the campaign. The game showers you with healing items, and your mounts and buddies are so powerful that it feels a bit like hand-holding. - Pacing Issues: There are quite a few slow, unskippable "walk-and-talk" sections early on that drag out the story until you finally reach the endgame where things really open up. Bottom Line: Even with a slightly slow and easy start, Wilds is an absolute triumph. The combat is incredibly rewarding, the world is breathtaking, and it runs beautifully on the PS5. Highly recommend!

Challenging and fun gameplay ,need a team for some of the hunts, pleased with this game.graphics were great ,functioned well, no difficulties, good story line

It came! I’m starting it and it’s a lot of fun. I can see the stark difference as I was playing Black Myth Wukong and then now this. They are totally different games but I’m reminded of how slower paced Monster Hunter is. Its formula is amazing even still though. It’s much more streamlined in different ways which I don’t mind. I’ve been playing MH since MH3Ulitmate on Nintendo 3DXL, and I love to see positive quality of life improvements. Make sure you have time to give to this game though it’s not like Black Myth Wukong or many of the games where you can pick it up and put it down. The hunts can take some time so I advise after work or school not during breaks. At least give about an hour of free time to it because if not you may not get anything done. Great game overall and I’m glad I could experience it. I’m still in the beginning and learning. One of the great things about this title is you can have multiple weapons (2) to switch from so it’s the most versatile MH ever. Many options to fine tune your experience too. Plus the create a character is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. Okay if you’ve read my novel all the way this far you’re amazing. Thank you! Have a blast!

Fun game but gets boring after about 30-40 hours. Super repetitive. Worth it for 20 or less.

I enjoyed Monster Hunter World when it was release some years back and the gameplay was astonishing, but Monster Hunter Wilds gameplay takes that to an entirely new level. The gameplay has been refined from MH World with more combination attacks on each type of weapons. MH Wilds have the best handler hands down from the previous entry.

Been on my gaming grind and this game was amazing to play. Still have alot to do but im having a blast playing this game!
