I recently upgraded to the Dr.Care Baby Monitor after being disappointed with the HelloBaby monitor's resolution, and I'm delighted with my choice. The 1080p resolution is incredibly clear, making it easy to monitor my baby day and night. Although the camera moves a bit slower than other brand and the slight lag in responsiveness when using the two-way talk feature. Battery lasts about 8-12 hours with continuous usage (your mileage may vary), but the Type-C charging speeds things up. Overall I definitely recommend this monitor!

We’re using this monitor a bit differently than intended. Instead of keeping an eye on a baby, it’s set up to watch over an older relative who insists on cooking. I have it positioned to see the entire kitchen area, and the zoom feature allows me to focus on the stove burners when needed. The monitor automatically turns on when it detects motion or sound, which is reassuring since I don’t have to keep checking it manually.One of my favorite features is the two-way talk. I’ve used it to answer questions about recipes and provide guidance while staying in another room. It’s pretty responsive, and the audio is clear. The range is also impressive—I’ve had no trouble monitoring even when I’m at the other end of the house.The other day, the monitor's "high temperature" alarm went off. It turns out it was close enough to the toaster to pick up the temperature increase and alert me. That kind of sensitivity adds an extra layer of safety, especially when dealing with cooking appliances. The night vision works well too, so I can easily monitor activities in the kitchen at any time of day.I can’t help but think how useful this would have been when I was raising my own kids. It’s a great monitor not just for babies, but also for keeping an eye on elderly family members who still want their independence. All in all, it works very well, and the peace of mind it provides is priceless.

This is a wireless monitor and camera. There is no phone application etc. to view the camera on. This makes it a closed system so no one is able to eavesdrop on what you are monitoring. The monitor had a very clear picture with no lag even when they were on opposite sites of the house. We like it and would recommend.

This baby cam was packaged nicely and easy to setup. It took a few seconds before everything synced up and I could watch my baby on the screen. The picture quality was good and it was very easy to use. I love that I can bring this when I travel making it so convenient.

There's not a whole lot that is "plug and play" when it comes to babies, AmIRight?! This is, though. You literally plug it in and it's ready to roll. Far less setup time than my Nest or Wyze cams, and the reliability and connectivity are fantastic. Great video and sound quality and give amazing peace of mind. SO GRATEFUL for a high-quality product out there :)

Plug in the camera, long press the power button on the receiver, that's it: it's up and running with the camera picture on the screen, setup is already done, seamless.Bring the video receiver unit with you around the house, set it down on counters/tables (it has this nice little integrated kick stand), and it'll be easy to keep it in sight.The picture is super clear.No boot delay, no waiting, no configuring...Controls are simple and intuitive: directional buttons to pan/tilt the camera, hold the mic button to talk to baby through the camera, a button to cycle zooms, a volume button, all obvious.There's a menu for some settings but it's not complicated.Why use this dedicated device, as opposed to a wifi camera and a phone app?It's dead simple to use and setup.No wifi complications or glitches (and if you travel with baby, this will work wherever, no setup).It's an always available screen that you don't use for other things.If you want always-on streaming, this thing will last 18 hours on batteries: your phone certainly won't.No distractions, no notifications, no other apps, nothing else using the screen.If you're using your phone for something else, this one is still here, you can check it out the corner of your eye.You'll be carrying this around and setting it down in all sorts of places: if some accident happens to the receiver, it's quite a bit cheaper than a fancy phone.Also good for less tech-oriented people.If you have a babysitter, you hand them the device: no need to give them remote access to a camera in your home.Coverage is quite good, reaches a tad farther than my fancy wifi 6 router.It goes through interior walls plus an outside wall and far into my yard.(Keep expectations realistic: at 3 thicknesses of stone walls it does cut out some, which is reasonable.)Since this isn't internet-connected, you do need to be in range, unlike with a wifi camera and phone app.The camera has an infrared mode so it can see in the dark, of course.Pan and tilt are perfectly silent.There's even a temperature sensor (so you can track baby's room temperature), because why not?There's an effective anti-slip ring under the camera base, it's stable.There's also a screw hole if you want to mount it sideways to a wall.Hidden in the menu is one extra function: a countdown reminder timer. That makes sense, seems useful.Packaging is premium.Note the camera needs to be always connected, it's not battery-powered.The camera does have a pairing button and the receiver can show multiple cameras, but I don't have extra cameras to test.Some minor points where it's not perfect:I'd like more details on the transmission technology.Is there encryption?Viewing angle is limited: only about ~45 degrees as far as I can tell (it's not listed in the specs).This is quite a bit less than you might be used to with security cameras.To watch a small stationary baby though, it's enough, perhaps even better to not frame too much wider than necessary.(And you can pan and tilt if needed.)There isn't anything like a belt clip, which audio-only monitors used to have.The audio volume gets reduced while panning.Not sure why, perhaps so the sound of the motor doesn't come through?Yet in the room with the camera it's inaudible.The camera uses a micro USB connector (the receiver uses USB-C).The receiver's feet and kickstand don't have anti-slip.The audio volume level doesn't go very high, same for the vox alarm levels.It's sufficient really, plenty enough to hear a crying baby.I guess this would only be a problem if using the receiver in a noisy environment, which is not too likely within range of a sleeping baby.The vox mode triggers on sound (hence the name), but it might be nice if it could also trigger on motion.To be fair, sound is really the point.Some of the wishy-washy technical details annoy me a bit, like "Industry-Leading Visual Algorithm"and "Our solution adjusts frequencies and delays in real-time, boosting stability and interference resistance."I'm also sceptical about the "potential risks associated with wireless monitor radiation".They drop this "23dB" value which doesn't tell me anything.It's still transmitting 1080P video continuously, loud enough to be received at quite a good range.I'm not too convinced that there's risk or that this is a significant differentiator for this model.Some specs: tilts 60 degrees up and 30 down, pans 300 degrees horizontally.The latency is on the order of maybe a quarter of a second.This is well done, I recommend.

Dr.Care NovaView Baby Monitor video e audio... il quale, rispetto ad altri sistemi di monitoraggio, ho preso in quanto "all-in-one". Questo NovaView infatti è completamente autonomo, non necessita di reti internet sulla quali appoggiarsi e, di conseguenza non necessita di alcuna configurazione, creazione di credenziali, indirizzi IP da connettere al router e via dicendo. Né tantomeno di presa di corrente in quanto ricaricabile. Si accende ed è già configurato, tra telecamera e monitor, e pronto all'uso. Ciò lo rende anche più sicuro perché se si appoggiasse a un router/internet oppure ad una presa di corrente e questi venissero a mancare cesserebbe di funzionare. Utile dunque anche da portare in viaggio, in vacanza... con la sua facilità d'installazione. Apprezzato infine la definizione del monitor HD1080p, lo schermo splittabile e la modalità VOX che accende lo schermo all'emissione di suoni del bambino, il basso rilascio di radiazioni. Davvero ben fatto.

When I ordered this I had expected it to require wi-fi, and so have the usual delay when accessing it, but no, it doesn't require wi-fi and you get a live feed instantly, which is great. The picture quality is very good and we've had no issue viewing from any room in the house. Also for travel or trips to another home you can just take this along and there is no extra set up the other end.The camera does need to be plugged in whilst the monitor has a rechargeable battery. The camera does have quite a bit of movement in order for you to pan and zoom to where you need and there is a hanging hole underneath - but I think it would be really useful if they added a tripod screw underneath too so you could just pop it on a mini tripod, for when there isn't a piece of furniture where you need it.

Wir haben eine lange Zeit lediglich eine App als Babyphone genutzt und dies mit einem Tablet (bei unserer Tochter) und einem Handy welches wir Abends im Wohnzimmer bei uns haben betrieben.Das Kinderzimmer befindet sich in der ersten Etage, unser Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss. Es war, das muss man der Gerechtigkeit halber auch sagen, nicht so dass ständig die Leitung geschwächelt hat aber manches Mal schien einfach der Wurm drin, für einen kurzen Moment ist der Empfang weg und man ist irgendwie im Alarm Modus. Ich will das nicht dramatisieren, aber diese "Vorsicht" Position entsteht automatisch.Als es möglich war dieses Gerät über das Vine Programm zu testen haben wir sie sehr gerne wahrgenommen.Die Geräte machen schon beim auspacken einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, die Verarbeitung ist superSobald man die Geräte aufgebaut, angeschlossen und eingeschaltet hat verbinden sie sich, das ist absolut perfekt und die gelieferten Bilder sind unglaublich gut, das gilt sowohl für die Bilder bei Tages- als auch die bei Nachtsicht.Dabei ist es super, dass die Überwachungskamera auch über Akku läuft, denn dort wo wir sie platziert haben ist leider keine Steckdose.Wir betreiben das Babyphone hauptsächlich Abends, ich würde sagen insgesamt rund 3 Stunden pro Tag. Wir haben nach einer Woche neu aufgeladen, der Akku ist definitiv leistungsstark.Die Gegensprechfunktion bei diesem Babyphone ist absolut großartig, das kann man nicht mit der App vergleichen. Wir können jedes Geräusch unserer Tochter hören, der umgekehrte Weg vom Monitor zur Kamera ist ebenfalls top (getestet mit meiner Frau).Es gibt zudem zahlreiche Funktionen die für uns momentan nicht relevant sind aber sicher gut sie in dr Hinterhand zu haben. Man kann über einen Splitscreen zwei Kleinkinder beobachten, meherer Kamers zuschalten und und und.Was mir am besten gefällt ist, dass es überhaupt keine Störungen auftreten, das ist vollkommen ungewohnt und meiner Ansicht nach ein Zeichen welche Qualität das Babyphone tatsächlich hat.Wir sind absolut zufrieden und vergeben daher 5 Sterne!
