I've never had a quick/master link tool and although it's not too difficult to remove a link without one, it's a breeze and takes seconds with one. This is a great too for the price. It feels sturdy and well made.

They do the job as expected.

Honestly can't fault these chain pliers at all they can quite easily split a chain and are excellent value for money. The only thing about them that is not perfect is the quality they feel cheap however compared to say park tool pliers they really are so it's to be expected and they get the job done
