Beautifully Done!
I have had the great fortune of being able to attend some of Ben Decker's meditation classes here in Los Angeles. I have a very solid meditation practice and I learn something new every time I am in a room with him! He carried his wonderful teachings into a book that is awesome for beginners, but there are some wonderful nuggets for even those who have been meditating for years. As the mom of a young woman I can't wait to give this to her and all of her friends as they learn to navigate through these challenging times. A great book for all and great techniques, practices and ways to go deeper! I am so grateful that Ben has had this opportunity to share his gifts and talents that will help heal many! B

This got me started meditating in a meaningful and productive way
I tried meditation apps before, and always found some benefit to them, but then quit using them shortly thereafter. This book was my first attempt at non-guided meditation (meaning no audio recording talking to me as I meditated). It was fantastic. The descriptions are simple and easy to follow. The writing is concise and gets you into meditating as quickly as possible. The 10 different approaches are also great as I found some that worked wonderfully, some that were okay, and some I didn't care for. I expect everyone is different, so getting a bit of diversity seems really valuable. It certainly was for me. Anyway, I have bought 2 additional copies to give to friends. Highly recommend this book as a jumping off point for meditation.

Good book!
I thought this was a wonderful book to get a person to begin a meditation journey. It has helpful insights and actually guides a person through ten separate meditations.

Fantastic for beginners
I love this book. I tried Headspace and others, but could never stick with it. This book leads you gently into different ways to mediate just starting out at 5 and then ten minutes. It makes it so easy. I was really surprised at how fast the time went. If you are an absolute beginner. This is the book for you!

We need this book in every elementary school classroom across America.
***I HIGHLY recommend this book for all ages and experience levels.***This book is an in-depth introduction into the world of meditation and its benefits presented in a succinct, straight-forward and exciting way. It will benefit the youngest of students to the more advanced. Despite my being familiar with many forms of meditation, this book has introduced me to many new modalities I didn't know. Additionally, this format would be a great resource for teaching children about the different forms and origins of meditation and how they can very easily be applied to their everyday life.

A good beginner’s book on meditation.
Buying books only because they’re less taxing my eyes than ebooks. At first, I thought the print was too small for me and regretted for not buying an ebook instead. But, as I read more, I began to like this book. Actually the font size wasn’t too bad. This book is well laid out and very easy to follow.

I previously experienced meditations in which Ben was the practitioner. I always felt much better afterward - yet failed to replicate it on my own. Months later, Ben announced the publication of this book and I was ecstatic. It simplifies his expertise. My schedule is busy yet I still found it easy and a joy to go through each day with this book. Thank you for sharing your insight so we can become happier, calmer, and healthier - even amongst all the demanding external stimuli and to-do lists that try to capture our attention every day. Highly recommend!

Great book!
An excellent starting point for anyone interested in meditation.Most books focus on only one technique, and learning the basics of ten different techniques that build on each other is an amazing experience.The glossary and suggested reading at the end of each chapter makes this book really worth keeping around.

It is an excellent book. It is helping me a lot. I am a disabled person but I can follow the wise advice of the Teacher. I have learned a lot reading this book and doing meditation every day. love and peace.

Great learning experience for beginners
I am going through a difficult position in my life and am angry and frustrated about everything. I have been using this book to help me cope with my situation. Many things here have helped me to regulate and accept .I thank the author for guiding me during this difficult time . The easy language and step by step instructions have helped me understand and implement the book. Thanks alot.
