CONCORD Propane Burner, Mini Cyclone 100,000 BTU/hr. Burner Head, Fabricated of Stainless Steel
This review is of the CONCORD single burner stove. Please note that this product is fabricated from Stainless-steel which means that it will not rust the way most other single burner stoves do. This stove is composed of a 12-inch square Stainless-steel cooktop made with welded 14-gauge angle stainless-steel. The pot supports are made of square section stainless-steel sections welded to the stainless-steel frame. The stove has a stainless-steel handle and the stove by itself weighs about nine pounds. The welds are well executed with no weld spatter noted. The burner for this unit is a 6-inch in diameter red, cast iron “Mini Cyclone” burner head. The burner is connected to the propane tank with the supplied propane hose assembly. This product was supplied with an adjustable (0 - 20 PSI) propane regulator. Attached to the regulator is a Green QCC1 Acme Nut connection (with up to 200,000 BTU gas flow capacity) and a 48" long hose for connecting to the burner. The regulator and hose assembly were pressure tested and no propane leaks were observed. The manufacturer states that 100,000 BTUs can be produced from the burner and the regulator assembly. There is an adjustable air shutter on the burner. No adjustment to the air shutter was necessary and the flame produced was quite acceptable. The flame was easily adjustable, it was even across the surface of the burner, and there were no dead spots observed. This single burner stove can really put out the heat and it is ideally suited for turkey frying, fish frying, Low Country Boil, or steaming blue crabs, clams, oysters, or shrimp. It is ideally suited for making boiled peanuts since the salt in the water will not cause the burner to rust away a year after it is first used to make boiled peanuts. It is also ideally suited for use with a large wok because of the impressive 100,000 BTU/hr. heat output. It can also be used with a large cast iron frying pan to make mega doses of bacon and sausage and pancakes and fried eggs for a large-scale camping breakfast. Thanks to the adjustable regulator, the heat output of the stove can be finely regulated to cook whatever you desire without turning everything into a burnt cinder. The quality of this product is quite good. I found the welds to be well done with no weld spatter observed. The product is solidly built and should have no problems serving to fry turkeys, boil lobsters, crabs, or shrimp, or heating a wok to insane temperatures. Thanks to the use of stainless-steel, this product will be around for a long, long time. Congratulations on producing a quality product.

Solid, good looking and HOT
Very nice high output burner for your patio or backyard. If it has a flaw, it's that it's too low to the ground. That won't matter so much when you are lifting the turkey or stainer insert for your low country boil. It's more a concern if you are using it on a potentially burnable surface. I would not use it as is on a deck, for example. You might consider a couple of concrete blocks to put it on, and maybe a heat resistant pad (I see a couple of reviews with pictures of it sitting directly on wood, or on a rug; that won't be safe, this thing gets *really* hot.) Other than that, the controls seem good and positive and it puts out the high heat level you need for deep frying or boiling a huge pot of crabs. I would recommend with the above caveat.

Simple, robust, functional, just be cautious as with any gas appliance!
In the U.S.A. this product will be seen as great for camping. Where I come from, in the Caribbean, this will be seen as a lifeline!I live in the middle of the path of hurricanes, and when the season begins, everyone scrambles to get gas tanks and appliances, so I saw this product and it felt much simpler than those typical mini camping stoves from yesteryear. This thing is strong, heavy, and robust, and contrary to the stoves I mention, it can handle the large tanks of gas instead of the small bottles the others use - It can, however handle those bottles with an adapter which I own!The swiveling handle on one side is a nice touch for moving it. Attaching the hose and regulator was a cinch! The form factor is simple yet well thought out.It will eventually get singed and the shiny metal will become dark with soot but I expect the metal to last a long time without rusting. So, my only advice is that, with all devices requiring gas and handling flame, be very cautious! some of the instructions seem contradictory, "turn valve counter clockwise," for example. So, please test this outdoors, with your extinguisher handy and a loooong match or click igniter. It does NOT include an igniter nor would I expect it to, so again, be cautious, and you should be fine. And, if camping is your thing, and not hurricanes, tornados, or frequent power outages, enjoy it as well!

Heavy duty, well-made, adjustable flame and looks great!
I got this burner mainly for tailgating at football games. It arrived yesterday, and I put it to use for a test last night frying up some chicken tenders and onion rings. First, it was very well packaged. Professional packaging, and everything was ready to go out of the box. No assembly needed, other than attaching the propane hose to the burner and the other end (regulator) to the tank. With the regulator dial screwed out (counterclockwise) the gas is off. Turning it in (clockwise) allows the gas to flow to the burner. The more you turn in, the higher the flame. I found that a medium low flame was perfect to heat 2.5 inches of cooking oil in a 10" pot to 375 degrees relatively quickly. I did adjust the flame higher after adding food to keep the oil temperature from dropping down. The flame is very even and consistent across the burner when lit. Nice blue flame indicates proper air flow and proper combustion. This led to no discoloration to my aluminum fry pot after about 40 minutes of continuous use. My only (minor) complaint is that the inside (open) edges of the body itself are rather sharp. I will file these edges down to ensure I don't cut myself. Perhaps this could be done after the build process and prior to shipping/sale, but it's not the biggest deal, since there is a hinged carry handle attached to the burner. Overall, very happy with the burner, and I'll be putting it to use tomorrow at our football tailgate party. I'll edit the review if I have any additional comments/issues.
