This is my new go-to jacket for when it's raining!
The large fits me as expected. It's done a great job at keeping me dry when it's raining. It doesn't overheat me like a lot of jackets do. On windy days, it prevents me from getting cold. It seems well made, so I think it's going to last a long time.

Nice lightweight and portable rain gear, but not for bigger-sized people
This hooded windbreaker/rain jacket is perfect for travel: it can be rolled into a very small bundle and stashed in a backpack or suitcase for emergency inclement weather. I like how it zips completely up into a ring (kind of like a space-suit collar?) so it will keep the wind off your neck even if you don't have the hood up. The hood is deep and can be pulled down over your face if you're stuck in a downpour, or can accommodate a ball-cap with a brim under it. There are plenty of pockets to protect any small electronics or items you have with you. This feels 100% waterproof, so that also means you won't get any air circulation when zipped as the fabric does not breathe. Sometimes you want this level of rain protection, but in warmer summer temperatures the heat inside will likely build up and become very sweaty. In cold weather this would be perfect and likely warm and insulating without bulk. This is listed as a men's garment, but would be attractive on anyone whom it fits. One negative: This jacket was available in Small-Medium-Large. I got a large and it fits well vertically when worn open, but I'm thick around the middle. On the large size the waist is surprisingly narrow and difficult to zip up. I had to suck-in to get the jacket zipped securely and it would be uncomfortably snug to wear zipped for a long period of time. If you're thinner or average-shaped it's probably fine. The sizing chart on the store page lists up to 3XL but this garment is not offered above Large. Also be aware this is a lefty jacket! The zipper is on the left side. if you're right-handed it may take a bit of practice to align the zippers in reverse.

Lightweight Fall Jacket
I'm really impressed with this jacket from the CAMEL brand! It's lightweight yet warm enough for mild fall weather and does a great job of blocking the wind. The color scheme is stylish, and the quality of the fabric and tailoring is excellent. Overall, I'm super pleased with my purchase!

About as perfect a rain jacket can be, in my opinion. Ideal.
I think this is the second best item of its kind I have had in my life, and the only one better was one that was over $100 more expensive, and that was 25 years ago.Seriously, they really did it all right, here. From the cut, look, fit and trim; all the way to the materials used, it is all spot on and of terrific value and labor. The zippers, these are an absolute delight. They are solid, move smoothly, and have tucker in enclosure at their apex. Absolutely love it. The material is as standard Gortex type feel. It's not, hence the far lower price than if it were, but it has all the sense of a premium Gortex jacket. The arms, length, pockets are all terrific. There are stretch ties at both the hood and along the sides of the waist, and are also functionally excellent. Even right down to the two-toned schema, this jacket does it all right.Oh, and the hood is also of a perfect size and overhang, if one need to shelter from a sideways rain.

Does the Job! Worth a try if the price is right!
Got this for my dad on rainy days. I have one myself that was/is a best seller. It is immediately obvious that this was not as good as the best seller I own but the rain jacket was really decent. It fit my dad great and few complaints.I immediately felt the quality was not the absolutely best but if the price is right then it is worth a try for sure. It protects my Dad from the rain fine obviously and works as advertised!

Wonderful
Excellent quality rainwear at a very reasonable price. If backpacking where every ounce matters, other more expensive jackets would be a better choice to save a little weight, but for a light hike or a jacket to keep in the car should a downpour necessitate running in the rain, this is an absolute winner.

Nice Multi purpose Jacket
This is a very nice looking rain jacket for hiking and being outside. I really like the color, I got the green and black. It looks very nice and feels really good quality.I will say that the size large fits me a little bit big but it is not a big deal, I will most likely wear something under when I hike or go camping when it gets cold. Just be sure to check the measurements to be sure what size fits you best. It has good breathing room so you won't feel too hot.It looks really nice and modern, so it does not look cheap or out dated. It has several pockets with zippers so you can easily store your phone and also be protected from the water. The pockets are a really good size so you can carry more with you. The hood is adjustable so you can tighten it up when it rains and will cover your face. This is a great hiking or camping jacket. It is waterproof and does repel water really nicely. It fits really comfortably when using it alone or even with a sweater under. I would highly recommended this jacket for someone looking for a cheaper option for a good waterproof jacket for camping and hiking.

Not quite lightweight
This review is for the CAMEL Men's Rain Jacket - Lightweight Waterproof Windbreaker Softshell Jacket for Hiking and Travel with Hood. Ordered this jacket in a size Medium and the fit is just right. I’m 5’10” And 155 lbs. with a slim fit build. This is a good rain and wind proof jacket. It is pretty thick though, and not exactly lightweight. So if you’re looking for a packable style this does take up more room than you would expect. The material is nice, and the green on black looks really appealing. It has a really good quality fit and feel to it. Not sure it’s in the high quality range that the price suggests (currently $69.99), but it is a pretty nice jacket.
