The grey tweed ottoman/stool measures 18" tall, a standard seat height. I wanted a small round stool in the entry to sit on while donning or doffing shoes. My requirements were for it to be: round so it never looked crooked on the rug, seat-height, sturdy, attractive, and relatively comfortable on the tush. Based on stellar reviews, I took the plunge. The stool arrived quickly and unscathed. Installing the 4 wooden feet was quick, using the provided Allen wrench. Because it will sit on a rug, I did not install the felt feet protectors as provided. I put the felt, the Allen wrench, and the instructions inside the stool if I ever need them. I like the storage space for hats and gloves, or dog harness, etc.Husband tried it out and noted that the seat was cushy for his tushy, much better than the wooden chair we were using. The first pic is with the door opened with natural light on it so you can see that the tweed threads are both a medium grey and a light brown. Inside, with my soft-white lighting, it looks like grey leaning toward a tan color, which works excellently with the inside colors. I am so happy with this purchase. It feels surprisingly both lightweight AND sturdy. Thank you Homepop Home Decor!

This round ottoman is sturdy, does not keel nor tilt over easily, is definitely big enough for comfortably putting two feet on there, and is the right height for the couch (first criterion/ criteria for selection as a lot of other ottomans would not allow for feet to be level with couch).It looks nice enough that it doesn't scream " cheap deal", and the Inside storage is always a plus. Also, the fabric is smooth enough that the cat of the house is not interested in scratching it, as opposed to a more textured recliner....The assembly ( for the feet only as it comes all ready to use otherwise ) is extremely easy and fast.At first I was unhappy with the price tag, but seeing it in use, I think it is worth the money, and is not expensive.

Oh my goodness! This is so so nice! Everything about it! The packaging was excellent...took a little bit to get it out of the box. The construction is great...I love the nailed detail around the bottom. The stitching on the top is really nice, too. The only thing I had to do was screw the legs on...eezy peezy once you got the hard plastic covering off of the screws. I can't say enough about this ottoman. The storage appears to be significant. Color is exactly what I wanted. Great product! Happy customer! OH! And I purchased 2. So glad I did. Gives me extra seating.

Shipped in a sturdy cardboard box, wrapped in plastic. No damage, very clean. No assembly required except for screwing on the legs (more about that later).Stitching is perfect, couldn't find a loose thread anywhere. Lid of the storage area is well padded and fabric is stretched taut. Lid fits well, just about one quarter inch movement, not bad in my opinion.Now, the legs. The holes where you screw in the legs have metal inserts under the covering, a much better system than simply drilled holes. The legs are square with a slight flare. I was unable to get all four legs screwed in tight AND pointing in the same direction. If you have them in the right alignment, some will be loose which will cause a bit of wobble of the ottoman. Easily corrected with the strategic placement of washers before screwing them in. Or you can replace the legs with straight ones that you can tighten completely. Hard rubber feet on the bottom of the legs work well on carpet but easily slide around on a bare floor.Even with the leg issue, this is a well made product.
