Great book! In this book you will find great advice on what to look for in a business. Some people will call WFG a scam some may say it's the best thing that ever happened to them. I say best thing that ever happened to me and this book tells you the good and ugly. I've been in WFG for over 1 year now and what we do is amazing. People may say it's a pyramid scheme, that's poor thinking with validity. Last time I checked corporations are pyramid schemes. Who makes all the money in a corporation? People at the top. This book talks about how people have changed their lives and the lives of many. I think if you're open to new business opportunities without listening to people who failed in life and blame it on a company with over 40 years of business, this book will solidify your decision about WFG. Steve's other book How Rich People Think is also good. PEOPLE BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TAKE ADVICE FROM AND THE OPINIONS YOU READ. ONLINE. IF THE PERSON GIVING YOU THEIR OPINION IS NOT LIVING THE LIFE YOU WANT TO LIVE, BE CAUTIOUS WITH THEIR OPINIONS IT CAN HURT YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS OR LIFESTYLE.

I have been with WFG for close to 3 yrs now. I would be lying if I said it was easy. It requires hard work and a strong belief in the company’s mission to educate and help families secure their future. That is what has helped me push forward despite the many rejections you will encounter. Some people are open to what you have to share and some are not — fact of life. Any business you start, in any industry for that matter, requires hard work. If you want to represent the diverse business platform the company offers, you need to get properly licensed. It requires investment of time and money, just like any business. To get properly licensed — life, health, securities (6,63,65) will run about ~$1500 (assuming you pass the first time you take it). Of course, you do this at your own pace. And, you can even do this while holding a full-time job. I can’t think of a financial institution that will allow you to do this. I have all the licenses and the income I have generated has paid back this initial investment many times over and, I’m still going thru growing-pains in buildin my business. This is not a get-rich-quick type of business. I believe a lot of the naysayers fell for this lie. I say, shame on those who painted this picture for others. But in reality, there are good agents and bad agents, whether it be in the real estate industry, insurance industry, or the likes. I am fortunate to be associated and have met people in the business who are above board on what it takes to make it and are all the more willing to help you build and grow “your” business. It’s about being mission-driven rather than commission- driven. The company preaches value to the client and their family comes first before value to your bank account. In my opinion, people who have joined and quit the business failed to realize that “ you are your own boss”. It is ‘your business”. Sure , you will experience not so effective business practices and some that are really good. You decide what you believe will be effective to grow your business. If you start a restaurant business or even an insurance agency business and it fails, who do you blame? The same with this business. It comes down to accountability and ownership. You just need to be coach able and have the desire to help others. Starting this business is more about WILL than it is about SKILL. You cannot share and talk about what the company offers, in terms of education and services, if you yourself have not taken time to learn and/or implement it to improve your financial security. To bring change to others lives, you need to start with yours. Ultimately, the income you generate in this business is directly related to the number of people you help, whether it be through customers who become life-long clients or your team members who you work alongside with in building a successful business.

Steve has been working for fortune 500 companies for 25+ years teaching mental toughness. Including many of the top financial companies and competitors of World Financial Group. Steve was not paid by World Financial Group to write this book and in fact was prepared to write about any dirt he might find... as any real author would.He conducted over 100 interviews, with employees and DISGRUNTLED employees. In all capacities, from home office to field leaders. Tied in with 14 years of working for the company and teams teaching mental toughness. This made him an ideal author to tell about all the insider information one might want to know before working with the company.I believe his portrayal of the company was accurate and fair. He talks in great detail about the strengths and weaknesses of the company from an objective stance. His positive review of the company got him in some hot water from some of World Financial Groups competitors (for whom he also works) and cost him some contracts. An author willing to tell the truth regardless of his financail gain or loss is pretty special. I respect the time and effort he put in to do a real review... not an advertisement.Steve's positive review of the company does come out in the book. So competitors and those dead set against World Financial Group will obviously not like this book.You'll also find World Financial Group is not a scam or pyramid scheme. So for those hoping to find material supporting those claims, they'll be greatly dissatisfied.However, if you are looking for a review and objective view from a well known and respected figure in the business world... you'll appreciate his diligence to provide the facts and answer all your questions about the company.

Great book. Really shows the Bussiness from an outsiders point of view. With so much miss information out there it is Goldvorkommen get an outsiders perspective and found it was very accurate in capturing what the company is all about.

Such an amazing book this was. I learned a lot from it and It made me more aware of what operations is World Financial Group running. I have been to 4 different offices in Canada Vancouver, and I have found all the 4 are completely different from one another. After the 3rd office I gave up but I read this book and it opened my eye a little bit and I learned that it was the bad management of each individual office. I believe anyone can get started and be at a certain level in the company to start their office, therefore, they can run their own show and however they want it (unethical, forcing sales and recruits).I recomment this book for everyone who is thinking of joining WFG.

Everybody who thinks of joining WFG or who wants to know more about WFG, who is searching for the real truth should read this book. This is the unbiased point of view of a world renowned author. I would suggest that before anybody reads this book, they should read about the author so that they know that all the information is coming from a credible source that can be trusted. This book will help you to separate the false information and negativity circling the internet forums and other websites from the reality about WFG.

I really liked this book as it tells the whole truth, good and bad about World Financial Group. I have been with the firm for a few years and am in absolute love with how much we help families and also how well we as agents get treated.My mom read this book first, and told me to give to everyone... after a few years even it helped her understand our motto and system.Have a read if you are on the fence about our firm or if you are in the business and have questions... it will answer them all!Thank you Steve for taking the time to write this book!

Started reading this book and it's amazing all the facts posted by the author (who has nothing to do with WFG)!This book is amazing, I can't wait to finish it.This shows the true credibility that our company (WFG) has, and once you start reading and you see your leaders pictures/story, you feel even more proud to be associated with such an amazing organization!This is a must buy if you want to know the ins and outs of WFG!For anyone doubting the company or posting negative reviews, at least take the time to read the book before you criticize!

The book is not just interesting but it has a flow to it. I couldn’t put it down since I started to read. I liked the honesty of Steve and it’s obvious that he is not only intervening the WFG stars but he talks out of his observation beyond what people say and has done a good job on his research.
