A must have for night airsoft for tournaments.
The build quality for the price is absolutely amazing, fits on regular j mounts. It's fun for airsoft nothing I would use in a real life situation but for 100 bucks it's BEYOND worth it. Pretty easy to use, functions well, the batteries last forever. If you want to see past 50 to 75 yards I would recommend a very strong IR light that's focusable. I bought two and run duals in night airsoft games and run with the guys that have real nvgs. Definitely worth it if you want to do night airsoft. I honestly can't wait to see you where this digital technology goes. It's way cheaper than actual night vision and it's harder to blow out the image with IR light since real nvgs are so sensitive.

Best budget digital NVG
It is the same as the night operators max monocular, except $100 less and shorter. donโt buy from that night operators drop shipper, its a scam. It has some weight making it fee rugged. great build quality. compatible with a J-Arm, you just have to use the screw it comes with in the box instead of the J arm screw. Removing a star tho because it moves around when it is mounted with the J arm.

night vision
Extremely clear for short range. Using the head mount allows me to walk around my property after dark without scaring animals and watch for snakes.

It puts the lotion on the skin
Works great with no noticeable lag and I love the fact that its a simple design with no recording. Battery life has been fine for walking out to my deer stand early in the morning. The included strap works but isn't the best, set it and tighten all the screws down with a screw driver and it will hold fine. Would definitely recommend!

Buy this instead of the Night operators max
I got this nvg for airsoft and this gets the job done way better than walking around with a bright flashlight. the latency is very hard to notice and the 320 x 320 screen resolution makes it easy to make out shapes and objects. The 1x magnification makes it nice to walk around too, I will add. But your depth perception is going to be horrid with being able to only see out of one eye, so it will take some practice to get used to. overall it's good UPDATE: They stopped working within a month, I bought 2 more to use binocular vision (which worked) but now they don't even turn on and just make a faint high pitched whine. Just save your money and buy a 3d printer to make diy digital nvg's.

Great for it's price!
For under $100 its better than ones I've tried at 3x the cost. It's latency is nearly nonexistent, it has a 60 FOV, and it is very manageable to walk in. There's no fancy features, no recording, etc... and there doesnt need to be if you want this for helmet mounted purposes. It's lack of features help it weigh less and run smoother, so that's a good thing. I really like that it's USB-C, works with my other camping battery packs. No carrying dedicated batteries. The battery life is maybe 2 hours testing right out of the box, but I haven't tested it from a full charge. The plastic arm mount is crap, but we all can see that from the picture. Just get a Wilcox or something similar.

you can make this yourself
While this product is prebuilt, you can make one with a cellphone VR headset holder, and a battery ring camera. just pair the camera to a hotspot and the phone in the viewer headset night vision for under $100

Can't be focused to produce a clear image.
I was encouraged at first: unpacking the product showed that it was essentially all metal parts. Definitely didn't feel like a toy. Unfortunately, the image on the viewscreen was very fuzzy - too blurry to really make anything out. Dialing the focus ring on the front varied the quality from completely blurry at its worst to too blurry to really use at its best. Perhaps other customers have received a product that did work properly, but all that would mean is the manufacturer has no quality control at all. Am returning this item.
