Works great using better techniques
This is an excellent travel toothbrush if used properly - but the provided instructions aren't the best way to use it. First - you need very little toothpaste to brush your teeth, "a quarter of a pencil eraser" will do a good job. If you can fill the small portable tube completely, it will last you for weeks. Thus, the toothbrush, tube, and container/handle is all you need for a two week vacation or camping trip. You can pack two in case you lose one. Long distance hikers take note! Second - use the smallest adapter that will screw onto your toothpaste source tube. Third - filling completely: The provided instructions are silly. Instead, gently flatten the travel tube between two flat wooden rulers, or a popsicle stick cut in half, or whatever soft smooth-edged flat wood strips are handy. The goal is to gently squeeze all the air out of the travel tube before you screw it into the toothpaste source tube adapter. Also, squeeze out a slight bead of toothpaste from the source tube before screwing the travel tube into the adapter. Fourth - Squeeze in the toothpaste slowly (a fill takes about 10 seconds) while you slowly relax the squeeze on the flat sticks. This may require a second pass and waste a little toothpaste, as you squeeze the air remaining near the nozzle out of the travel tube before topping it off. Toothpaste used sparingly is cheap, while grams matter if you have a lot to pack. Fifth - the product packaging is loose and sloppy. A couple of minature letter clips will hold it shut. The product designers made a few errors, but nothing a savvy user can't fix. Perhaps I am obsessive about maximizing the travel tube fill, but all five tubes properly filled with toothpaste can sustain a prudent traveller for months (and the source tube back home will last for years if you use a tiny dab).

Toothbrushes are great - Toothpaste containers.. bad
I bought these looking for a great, compact solution for travel.. they fit the bill there. I figured the toothpaste tubes might not last forever due to how you have to smash them to flatter than a crepe to get toothpaste in, and based on the fact they give you extras. I didn't think they wouldn't even last through 1 month.. I was concerned that crushing the tube might affect it, but figured that because they store inside the toothbrush that issue would be mitigated. I pulled the toothbrushes out of my bag to look at them, having simply been sitting there and discovered that the 2 tubes I had filled and left for a couple of weeks had both cracked at the caps. I don't think it was an overtightening thing or anything like that, but was surprised that they had both failed. I will fill a couple more and see how it goes and update, but I'm not liking these as a travel solution if they crack open with no usage after a couple weeks.

Should have listened to the bad reviews
I wish I had paid attention to the bad reviews on this product. It is absolutely horrible. The tubes are almost impossible to fill. I was able to get it half filled but the valve doesn't stay attached. It pops off the toothpaste tube and toothpaste shot out all over the place. Then the tubes are so flimsy that when you try to get toothpaste on your brush it hardly comes out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Genius, but bristles very firm
These are really pretty great, with the exception of the fact that my gums still hurt after using one in a hurry yesterday, not for the first time. The listing advertises them as "medium" bristles, but I'd call them firm, for sure. I'll have to be more gentle in the future. That said, these are so compact and the little toothpaste tubes really aren't that fussy to fill as long as you let go of the hope that you'll be able to fill them 100% full. Just settle for almost full, and make sure you're not squeezing the big tube AT ALL when you pull it out of the filling adapter. Yeah, you'll probably make a bit of a mess on your first attempt. It's worth it, and you'll get better at it. The little tubes aren't totally water/airtight. They're absolutely fine when they contain toothpaste being stored in the handle of the toothbrush, but hopes I had of using the extra tubes for other stuff like mouthwash or a bit of peroxide or shampoo went out the window when I tested them with water. Even toothpaste might leak out of the cap if the tube were squeezed while sealed, like if you carried a spare tube loose in a bag. I mostly use these at work for an after-lunch brush, so I have no need to carry a spare tube. If I go on a trip, I'll probably take my regular-sized toothbrush and tube of toothpaste, but if space is ever at such a premium, I'll toss the spare tubes in a mint tin or something to protect them. The tubes are 2 1/4" long, about 5.8 cm, so they'll fit in a mint tin easily, aligned with the shorter side. You could probably get ten tubes in a standard Altoids tin. The toothbrush in its case, packed for travel, measures 4 7/16" long by 7/8" by 1/2". I'm the sort of person who uses WAY too much toothpaste every time, not the "pea sized amount" everyone recommends. I'm still able to get about four brushings per tube with these little tubes before I start worrying about not having enough for another go. I think the case is made out of acrylic, and it feels somewhat brittle. It might crack if compressed, but it's really been fine floating around in my purse daily. It and the white plastic toothbrush both feel a bit cheap, but they work just fine, and you can't beat the form factor.

I am fond of ultra-lightweight hiking and I was looking for a compact and folding toothbrush. There are many options here, but the lightest, most compact is Bagdent. Firstly, there are three brushes at once, which, in general, should be enough for all family members. Secondly, the killer feature is reusable small tubes that can be replenished with your favorite toothpaste. You do not need to look for small tubes for sale! In total, 6 tubes and 2 adapters for large tubes are included. Now I have a great travel kit for hiking and traveling. By the way, a brush and an empty tube weigh only 17 grams! Of the minuses, I can note the lack of design in the package. When I considered this kit, I doubted for a long time to buy it, because the packaging design does not give a feeling of high quality product. But thanks to the reviews, I decided. And even leave your review, which I do extremely rarely. It is a pity that I did not find this kit before, it is not even heard of among ultra-light tourists.

Not happy with this purchase. Was hoping to use for purse and travel toothpaste/brushes. Can't even fill the tubes.

I recently started Invisalign treatments and was looking everywhere for a compact toothbrush and toothpaste kit that fit in my pocket. I can't believe how hard this was to find, and this product is the only one that had everything I wanted. THANK YOU!! This is so small that it fits in my pocket, yet it's just the right size to actually be effective. The other great feature that truly sets this product far and above the others, is the refill kit for the toothpaste! At the beginning I was wasting money on buying travel size toothpaste tubes. Now, with this kit, I have small refillable tubes. Just awesome.
