Close but no cigar.
I've never really had issues with any screen protector before across up until this one. I've had other edge-to-edge screen phones like the iphone 6s plus, the 7 or the Samsung Galaxy S8, each one going through at least two different cases in the time I was trialling them and had them and never had any issues applying the protector or even after months of using the same one. I never gave any thought to buying a screen protector; I simply went for the one with the highest concentration of good reviews. After several tries and fifteen minutes of sweating like a heart surgeon because of how often it refused to sit I managed to get it on and it worked great; no unsightly dotted pattern that cheaper protectors sometimes have, no horrible polarising reflection when used in a brightly lit area and no adhesive markings,But after a few hours I found the corners, specifically the top right and bottom right would just slightly lift from the screen leaving a thin line of air trapped beneath down the right hand side of my screen that was slowly driving me nuts. I'd press the corners down and it would disappear for anything from 5 minutes to the entire day but it would always come back. Tried the second protector without the case on and the same thing happened and maybe even worse! Before the air pockets would barely overlap my screen at the bottom but now they were taking up a thumb-print sized space over my screen and it was impossible to ignore.Edit; since by this point both screen protectors had gathered dust from being left aside so many times I decided to give one a shatter test before binning them. I slapped it against the edge of the kitchen counter, dropped my set of keys on it, gave it a few firm pokes with a screw driver and it stood up to it all without cracking and barely any scratches, I had to put it on the floor and jump on it with all my weight before it finally broke and even then it was just a couple of edge-to-edge cracks. If you get lucky with applying it or have some sort genetically engineered accuracy enhancing super-soldier implant in your brain I imagine it'd work wonders for you but good luck getting it to sit flush.

Don't fit it upside down! Otherwise pretty simple.
You guessed it - I fitted it upside down then had a fit when I realized the 'stupid designers' had made the black band so thick it obscured all the icons telling you if you were connected or time etc.Luckily it was possible to reattach the sticky holders you use to put the cover on the phone screen so I was able to do a '180'. It stuck as well the second time round though because cut out is slightly different by the selfie cam area - it wouldn't stick down as well there - I couldn't get rid of the bubble. This is because I put a small sticker over the selfie cam - a much higher priority compared to a bit of a bubble. Sticker is advised by the police to 'stay safe' - ditto laptop - I've filmed you watching porn give me bitcoin or else - yeah right. Had 3 dozen of those all forwarded to the police in case they can spot a pattern and be able to take them out.I was btw worried about mucking up the application but it was pretty straight forward fortunately. Just.fit.it.the.right.way.up. Doh!Can't yet comment on durability of the protector but if it doesn't hold up I will edit my comment.

First non bubbly screen protector I've ever installed!
I should start by saying that I've had smart phones since they weren't that smart. I have never once managed to install a screen protector without a bit of dirt, a bubble or an overlap somewhere. When I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff in there. I wanted a screen protector not a DIY nuclear reactor kit! So I followed the youtube link in the packing to watch how it all goes together and how to use it.I then set about the assembly. Surprisingly a few seconds later I had it mostly installed, nearly all bubbles gone and then realised it was slightly skewed... I was about to accept it as a win, but figured I had 2, so I gently peeled up the corner and realigned it. It reseated and largely evened out the bubbles on its own. a few finishing touches and I had a perfectly installed screen protector - for the first time ever! The screen protector is much better than the stock supplied one, with a really nice tactile feel to it.One thing worth noting is if you don't use a case, you will notice the edges of this, as its quite thick, for me that's not a concern.I replaced the stock one because it was showing signs of age and had managed to weep in some dust at one of the edges. Will see how this fairs, but its looking good a the moment.

At last!!!! A good protector!!
I've had my P20 Pro a few years now and just recently had to look at replacing the tempered glass protector I put on it at the time i had it new due to a few drops. Thank god i had the protector on as for someone who's pretty good at looking after phones without the protector on i would have killed the screen. So, i've recently bought a few (even paid £15 from a phone accesssory supplier) and none were any good. Not receptive to touch (there is nothing worse than having to repeatedly tap a letter HARD when texting or opening an app), not fitting right, or bubbles that just wouldn't budge. Then i bought this one. It arrived today and i've just fitted it. Tadaa!!!! I am sooo happy!! ...it fits perfectly, adheres to actual screen brilliantly, and it feels like you've not got a protector on it's that receptive. This is definitely the P20 Pro protector to get (and you get 2). I'm bookmarking this one.
