A really fun toy
I bought these RC Hot Wheel cars for my grandkids, age 7, 9 and 11. They have plenty of Hot Wheel Tracks, I was really surprised about how well they worked! They are really fast and they stay on the tracks for the most part, even doing loops. The kids loved them and kept rearranging the tracks for stunts and crashes!

Fun little car!
Bought this for our little daughter, she loves it! Car is really quick though, a little tough to control. The front wheels don't actually turn left or right, it changes directions by reversing the direction of the rear wheels (like how you turn in a wheel chair), so makes turning a bit twitchy and hard to control. Other than that, it's great, quick to charge, easy to set up and a lot of fun to use, would def recommend for kids!

My son loves this
The weird thing is my son apparently hasnt figured out that he can use this on a hot wheel track. What he's been doing is racing it around the downstairs and messing with our cat, who loves chasing it. Normally he'll chase Hot Wheels but once they stop moving he loses interest. As this is a remote-controlled car, there is a bit more fun to be had. What we like:Very fast!Car charges and doesnt require removable batteries. Remote does however.Fun to drive and controls surprisingly well considering the size. What we dont like:Alignment buttons dont make sense if you dont read the instructions. The two buttons under the right stick are alignment buttons. Most rc cars will develop drift over a period of time and these are no different. The alignment buttons are there to help straighten things up. I had to google this because my son after opening, for once, quickly threw his trash away and it was only when I came to write this review did I sit down with the car and had no idea what the two extra buttons do.Overall:Pretty happy with this but I would say there is more fun to be had when you run this on a track than just driving it around the house. Our home is full of animals and fur and it wasnt long before you could tell that fur was starting to hinder performance. The turbo button is awesome but typically the car becomes hard to drive at that point which is why Id suggest driving this on a track.

A lot of fun! But kind of hard to control
This has been a lot of fun already, and I anticipate it being even more fun later when I get a second one to play with, with my kids. It's surprisingly fast, but that probably contributes to what makes it kind of difficult to drive. It wants to do donuts more than go in a straight line.I was also kind of disappointed with the method of steering as well: it steers by powering one rear wheel more than the other. This _kind_ of works if you tap it very lightly when you're already moving, but if you're moving too slowly or at a standstill you'll end up losing control and spinning out. I would have loved to have seen actual front wheel steering, but I'm sure this was the less expensive, and more importantly the more durable option.Speaking of durability, I think this should hold up for quite a while. It's fast but it's so lightweight and so simple (with out any kind of rack and pinion steering), and the plastic shell and wheels seem built well enough that it just gives the impression that it won't break easily. I've already accidentally run it full speed into immovable objects without a scratch.Battery seems really good; I haven't run it down to zero yet and only charged it once so far.The controller could be a _lot_ better. The sticks, particularly the steering stick is really stiff.Overall though I'm a big fan and will be buying another soon so my kids and I can drive at the same time. That will probably just be attempting and mostly failing to crash into each other, but I guarantee it'll be a ton of fun.

Fun little RC
This hot wheels RC is a blast to drive! It's reminiscent of those Zip-Zap cars from Radioshack years ago, but with quite a bit more speed! The car steers with the same kind of mechanics as tank controls, meaning the front wheels don't actually turn to steer, but instead the rear wheels have independent motors that spin opposite directions when turning. The remote doesn't require tank controls, and instead functions like a normal RC car. Great for any age, as there isn't really any learning curve. The boost button is awesome, and sends little car SCREAMING across the floor. We don't have any hotwheels tracks, but want to get some to try this thing out on. If it's half as fun as just driving it around on the floor, then it will still be a blast!Definitely get this for any hotwheels or RC fan, whether its you or a friend, it's a load of fun in a tiny package

It's basically hot wheels, but they now go super fast with a remote control at an affordable price.
Never though hot wheel cars will get an RC version in their form factor but they have and are turning popular cars into mini RC versions for a low price of $20.00. On top of that these things last pretty long one one full charge up to around 17-20m depends on how much you use the turbo. The frame retains a metal build and retains great detail making me feel bad for crashing it into things but it is pretty durable. The control takes a moment to get use to as the front wheels don't actually turn and the wheels on each side just spin in reverse to turn. It's very fun to drift in but if you need it to grip the floor you will have to put it on something with more rubber. These things are great for hot wheel tracks and you will get so much fun and speed out of it when used on a track platform. Overall this toy is great for kids and adults alike. Functions like a hot wheel but with the option to run fast as heck remotely. This is what tech evolution was made for!

One wheel doesn’t work
The media could not be loaded. One of the wheels does not turn so while playing with this it really just goes in a circle. There are buttons on the remote that don’t do anything but maybe due to the broken wheel. This is not functional at all for playing with but if your looking for something to sit on the shelf an collect dust look no further.
