This is the second nail clipper I've owned of this make and model. I purchased the first one 35 years ago in Germany and that one is in storage right now. Low and behold I found not only was this item still in production Amazon sells it.After that, the rest was easy one-click order and wait for it to show up which it did yesterday in perfect condition. It has always amazed me how little things like a perfect nail clipper make life a little bit better for the moments you are using it.

For years my favorite nail clipper has been a German-made clipper engraved "CUTLERY WORLD SOLIGEN GERMANY." I wanted another one of these. This Camila Solingen CS 14 looks very much like my present one, but is not even close to the quality and efficacy of the existing one. In fact, it doesn't even cut as cleanly and effortlessness as any number of nail clippers you might find near the check-out counters of convenience stores, gas stations, drug stores or Dollar General. Very disappointed.
