Pretty Good for the Price
The one thing you lose when you trim the ends are the finished end caps on the bottom piece, but assuming you are using an inside mount, these ends won't really be visible. I used a super sharp knife for the trim and still got a bit of roughness. I'm trying to think of a better way to do it. One thing you could do is first trim it to a wider width than you want, just to practice trimming and see how it turns out.My biggest beef is that the cutting guides stuck to the bottom of the blind do not come off easily. Given that a big part of them are bright orange, that's not something you want on there once the shade is hung. They are stuck with an adhesive that doesn't want to let go, so if you try to peel it off by hand, you will wind up with a big mess. Instead, I used clear packing tape, stuck it thoroughly to the label and then ripped the tape off and all of the printed part of the label came with it.Finally: once hung I pulled it down full length to examine the appearance. Check. Then slid it back up to the full "open" position .... only to find that the shade hangs crooked--noticeably further down on one side than the other. A bit of fiddling got it evened up a couple inches down from "full open" which should be OK, but I'm hoping this lopsidedness is not going to be an on-going theme.

Quick cheap fix for windows? YES. Time saver vs screw mounted blinds? NO.
Yes, they’re easy to cut to trim. I did have to call customer service- the phone # they gave on the directions is actually a SHERIFFS OFFICE who was not amused I was calling and actually met my confusion with “you’re trying to call redi shade, aren’t you? Those are really cheap blinds”. Which I agree, but I’m in a rental for a year and I have Windows that need blinds so they work. So first, yes- trim BOTH sides to fit your window. Don’t just cut one side or it will look off. Next, if you have the version that has the extra plastic piece at the bottom (not adhesive side) 1. YES, you need to cut through it and 2. It takes more time to peel the “remove this sticker after cutting” than if I was to literally drill holes and hang regular blinds. So if you’re getting these to save time and be easy, not recommended. If you’re looking for something cheap that does the job for a quick fix, they’re great.

Good purchase if needed as a quick fix or temporary solution
I was excited when these shades arrived. However, that quickly weaned when the trimming was more work than advertised. I also realized the adhesive was essentially ineffective. I ended up securing the shades with tacks in the underside. Then after only a short period of time, the shades began to crack, with pieces breaking off as I pulled down on it.If you're looking for a quick fix but TEMPORARY solution, this may work for you.

Good but hope this one stays stuck to window better and longer
It is a great shade, but the adhesive needs to be stronger. First one came u stick after just a month. Could have put it back up, except the tape holding it to wi Dow frame stuck to the middle of the shade when it fell and when I pulled it off shade where it stuck, it ripped shade and tore it up. Maybe should have ordered a different kind, but hoping I can add duct tape or something to the tape already on it and keep this one up.

They look good for the price
For the price they look good. They are not as easy to cut as the video makes it seem. Also, the adhesive with directions is next to impossible to remove! I am renting and hate vertical blinds and needed to spruce up my kitchen window. The top of the window may be too narrow because after gently putting up and down the blinds after a week, one side started to come off. I came up with a great hack. I used binder clips to hold the top on top! You can’t see them at all under the valance.

You get what you pay for. If you don't expect much you won't be disappointed.
These were purchased for installation into a new home. The cutting to size was n9t as easy as they claim it to be. Installation was easy, peel and stick, a child could do it. Installed on 9/8 and found you had to fuss with them to get them even across the bottom. Otherwise it looked like a drunk was playing with the shades. Two days later one of the shades just refused to retract no matter what we did with it. Fortunately I had ordered 2 extra shades, never dreaming I would need to replace one in less than 2 days after installing it. Disappointed to say the least. Lets hope the others hold up.

Cheap; Attractive; Super Easy!
The drapes in the dining room were shot. They were on a window behind the dining table, and people who sat near them were tired of always catching their chair legs on the drapes. And I had purchased the heavily lined drapes so we could watch TV (when not eating a meal together) in the dining room; now the TV is in the living room, so we don't need a heavy curtain to block the light. We had just put in new wood floors and when we took the drapes down for the installers, I said they're not going back up. I knew just what I wanted, since I had seen these inexpensive fabric shades on my sister's window. They provide privacy while letting light into the room. They aren't built to be raised and lowered every day, though you can change once in awhile. They are bargain priced so that if someone inadvertently gets a blob of spaghetti sauce or soy sauce on one of them, we can replace them without a lot of hand-wringing over the expense. They are really as easy to put up as the promotion says they are. For our long window, I purchased two, and the line of window frame in the middle is where they meet. Cut them to size with a box cutter or open pair of scissors, stick them in place, and you're in business! I bought extra tape for the project but never had to use it. The peel off strip was all we needed.Really great!

Easy fit, but not perfect
Very easy to cut to fit, quick easy install and do look good, but 3 out of 4 do sit level once pulled down & pushed back up. No adjustment available. Stickers that mark for measurement don’t peel off as suggested to remove after cutting, so looks a bit tacky. Blocks sun, but will likely change out for a more polished look.

Lasted for a year
It’s a beautiful curtain but it only lasted for about a year before the adhesive failed and it began warping and falling down. Don’t buy it as a long term curtain solution but if you are okay with a yearly change, it is beautiful.

My worst Amazon purchase ever
Trimming was easy. Installation was easy too. The problem is then product sucks really bad. It's never straight. One side always hangs lower than the other. One side is tighter than the other. I should have known better from the rest of the reviews but I took a chance. Highly regret buying these. Sped some extras money and buy better ones.
