Fun unpredictable roll, but it’s noisy—great for young cats; sensitive seniors may avoid it.
I bought this for my older cat who sometimes wants to play, but she’s always been picky about toys. She didn’t like the noise the ball makes when it’s on, so she mostly avoided it in that mode. That said, the ball has a weird/interesting rolling motion even when it’s turned off, and she actually did play with it like a regular ball. I’m guessing a kitten or younger cat (or a cat that isn’t bothered by sound) would love it. Good toy overall—just a little noisy for my sensitive senior cat.

Amazing for the price point/Updated: Needs bell fix
Love it. 10/10 would buy again. First I know others have talked about the longevity this toy had on their cat and honestly if you rotate your cat’s toys you shouldn’t have any issue. Also it’s $15. Even if it only lasted a month I’d probably go on a subscription service to keep them in stock. It works great for me, no complaints there. I think it is very fun for the cat as the speed and randomness of it is both physically and mentally stimulating. Yes, it is loud. I’m sure it depends on your floors but my hardwood floors make it very noisy sometimes. I have to just shut it off especially if my cat has found something else to do. It can kinda be annoying when you want to turn it off and it goes under furniture but it usually finds its own way out soon anyway. All in all great product, can’t wait for Mach 4..(?):) Update: Okay one thing that has me irritated enough to come update this thing. Still five starts cause I think it’s very innovative but the way the bell attaches to the Cheerble is… less than effective. It’s difficult to even keep the string on the “hook” long enough to close the charging port “latch” but I even superglued it into there and it won’t stay in. Now it comes off while the Cheerble is in motion and the bell is definitely small enough for at least larger cats to swallow (Maine Coons for sure and Himilayans). Hoping a solution is found for this soon because without the bell I go into a panic to find it before the cat does and also my cat mostly loses interest and then it’s just an annoying ball so. Yeah.

I had high hopes but.....
This is a well made toy. Mine is felt covered with red material similar to a tennis ball. It's also the latest M3 iteration. Sadly, it is so overpowered that it cannot find any traction and just sits and spins in place. I've tried it on linoleum, wood, shallow carpeting and even in cardboard boxes. I've tried it on all settings. Sometimes in the lowest setting it will manage to gain some traction and roll itself around, but mostly it just sits and spins in place like a top, or a mouse with a neurological disease. My cat's are not impressed and just walk past it when it behaves like that. The most action I got was putting it inside a small box with some paw holes cut out. I'm currently leaving it turned on laying around the house these days in "bounce mode," and one of my 2 cats will occassionally decide to play with it, but he also just plays with it turned off just as much. It's nice that it goes to sleep on it's own and only wakes up if a cat decides to play so it can sit around for the day and not run out of battery charge. I'm currently trying to think up a way to create more traction as the tennis ball felt covering is just too slick.

Intuitive, but would be better if it had one or two additional movement modes
This is one of the better interactive cat toys. I wish it rolled around a bit more, though. They like to chase things and it does roll for a little bit, but then it just jostles in place and shakes a bit and there's no mode for just rolling around. It does hold my kitten's attention for a few minutes at a time when she's full of energy! Also, the dog enjoys it, too! It's a decent size that it's not too big, either.

Cat hates it, easily gets lost
Not the quality and “upgrade” we were hoping for. It costs about $10 more than its predecessor, easily gets stuck or lost in the house, and it’s a real chore finding it because the ball goes to “sleep” often if our cat stops playing with it. The ball spins in place, rarely rolling, and bounces excessively which the cat hates and stops playing with it. Needs charging all the time, charge doesn’t last long. Update 01/22/2025: Lowered stars-rating to 1, the ball appears to operate marginally and for now remains durable. The ball it’s replacing is the same brand which lasted only 6 weeks before the button cover came off causing it to wobble more than roll. This “upgrade” model doesn’t hold our cat’s attention and is a waste of money. No recommendation here.

Cat loves this toy
My cat really likes this toy. I like that is has 3 different modes and is rechargeable Cat stopped playing because the ball got stick behind a door and I could not find it. Eventually it made a noise and I found it. I think I actually love this toy!.

Mel's Garden
My boys, kitties, were terrified of these balls.

Cat likes it, gets stuck under furniture
After initially being suspicious of it, my cat enjoyed this ball. It does tend to get stuck under furniture, though. It also picks up any pet hair on the floor, which is both helpful and annoying? No matter how much sweeping I do there is always some pet hair around the house, don't judge me. I haven't noticed any noise from it, and it seems durable so far. I'm happy with the purchase.
