Broom, As Seen On Shark Tank. for Indoor and Outdoor Use Retractable Handle with Scrapper Making Sweeping Easy

I bought this broom a bit skeptical as to whether I would use the scraping function much, but let me tell you, it's awesome. Super easy to use, it totally eliminates an extra step of going to find another tool so you can deal with the mess right there. I got paint spots off the floor of my apartment that have been there for years in about two seconds. User friendly, great functionality, well made. I'll definitely be buying again and I'm getting each of my parents one for Christmas--my mom has had four hip replacement surgeries and can't squat or get down on hands and knees to scrape things off the floor, this is perfect for folks with limited mobility. And my dad (who lives on a farm) will love the fact that he can sweep up dried muddy boot and dog tracks on his floors in one fell swoop. Truly a great invention, thank you!

I'm sure all sorts of parents purchased this after hearing about this item on Shark Tank. It is awful in usage. It will not scrape off food that is really stuck to the ground. A cheap dust pan will do a better job. My Bissell floor steam cleaner ($79.00 on Amazon) is infinitely better as it softens and removes stuck on food. The dynamics of the scraper can actually hurt your arm and wrist as it takes a continuous scraping effort to remove anything. There is no way it will take dried bananas, blueberries, or avocado off the ground. Macaroni salad is about the limit. Under the best of circumstances you will need to scrub the floor for the 90% it doesn't remove. It is faster and EASIER to get on your hands and knees to scrape things off the floor with a real scraper or fingernail than to use this.Here is an update. I gave this broom a second chance. After one more use the button that locks the scraper in place completely broke. Now it can't be locked in either position. This is such a horrible product. A regular butter knife with a round edge does a better job. In fact after a little water my fingernail is better and faster. This is Shark Tank product failure. I guess they made their initial money and then dumped it for the junk it is.

I bought two of these brooms. The quality seems solid although quality control is lacking. One of these arrived without the scrapper. The broom and scrapper work well. The bristles are made of plastic so they are a bit stiff but I'm hoping more use will loosen them up. One issue I have is where the collar for the scrapper slide sits. I'm 5'6" which is pretty average. The collar sits just above where I place my left hand and is very sharp. It hits on the top of my hand causing me to change the way I normally sweep which is uncomfortable. I'd like suggest the manufacturer curve that collar on both sides so it's not so sharp.

I bought this for use in our thrift store. We have special needs people who help, and one of the men who sweeps cannot bend in order to scrape the price stickers off of the floor. This broom is perfect for him! I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating because the bristles spread apart after just a few uses.

Two major problems with this item. First, the bristles on the broom started to fray within the same week of its first use. Second, the pop button that releases the scraper and locks it in place when not in use broke and is stuck in the broom handle. I have to hold the handle in such a way to keep the scraper in place. It was about three weeks old when this happened. I really like the scraper feature and wish they had made a higher quality product.

Perfect broom for the house, strong and durable, the retracting scrapper is great for scraping up things off the floor. The brissles on the broom are very corse, making sweeping easy. Best household item I’ve bought in years. The money spent on this broom has paid for it self the first week.

After the first boom was sent to me dirty and missing parts, the second also arrived dirty and broke within a week! The scraper that was missing on the first broom broke quickly with light use. The scraper is the whole point of this broom. Both brooms arrived without packaging, just a broom in a box. They were both dirty, like they were used and covered in warehouse stickers. I would not recommend this product. The idea is great but the execution is incomplete.

The scraper is such a good idea to put in a broom. I have 4 kids so there is always something stuck on the floor. The scraper is easy to drop down when needed and retract when your done. Then you just sweep it up! The broom is very sturdy too. This is my favorite broom by far!
