Colors could be a little more muted, but I won't be wearing this into combat, unless cleaning the pool counts as combat. It's hot here in the desert this time of year, so a bit of shade on the head and ears is welcome. I've now had both ears trimmed after bouts with skin cancer, so hats with brims have become the norm for me. I can get a sunburn at night during a full moon, so a brimmed hat is appreciated during the summer daylight.This hat has the ability to let in a breath of air through the crown, and that helps cool the cranium a bit. It folds up nicely and packs well for traveling. So far, I would say this hat is well worth the four stars I gave it. In fact, it could well be a five star.

What's not to like - looks great, fits exactly as expected, and protects my bald head from the sun all summer long. Definitely a quality made product.
